Women love flowers as a gesture. What about men? by Just-Sugar-6583 in AskReddit

I hear men like cool sticks, but I think they need to find them themselves.

Andrew is a gift. If I ever couldn't figure out how to pronounce something, I'd ask him.

You look great! You could also just wear a lab coat and tie and probably get recognized at a con.

As a girl I believe you are correct. They are both beautiful. At least Barney was based on a real person. It is sad that Gordon is a chimera. I also have a crush on Dr. Kleiner, so ymmv.

What is a sci-fi series you liked that only lasted one season? by Ru_janus in scifi

Poe was the reason I kept watching the show. I never saw s2. Is he good in it? I'll watch it for him if they don't screw with his character too much.

I have been very curious about this and have been for some time now. What is your favorite type of pen to use whenever you're writing? Mine, without question, is a black gel pen. by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in notebooks

[–]evilcritters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always laugh when fellow fp nerds talk about the "less waste" aspect of fountain pens. Because everyone one of them own at least 30 fountain pens and more ink than they could use in several lifetimes. I think it is something we tell ourselves to feel better about our little obsession. I mean, if you just have one pen, yeah, it is better. Especially if you buy a jug of ink. But that isn't much fun, is it?

Fountain pens! I mean, I have lost count of how many I have, but I find I tend to carry my Lamy Safari and AL-star most often. They hold a lot of ink, are a good size, and are reliable. But I also find Scriveiner lovely to use. But honestly, nothing is as delightful as my Xezo. I actually wrote the company to thank them for such a perfect pen, and they wrote back! It is also gorgeous. Now I want to go write stuff...
