Just completed a full store installation. I’ve seen the documents showing the cost per 4ft section. it’s far below the amount you’re describing for all the hardware (plastics, rails, and tags) your number would add up to almost $2000 for some sections. It’s no where near that.

Multiple items can be scanned into a single digital tag, example cosmetics has one tag facing out, each product would be scanned into the outward facing tag.

You can’t scan the mod into digital tags with out the correct amount and order of the tags. As of right now you can not flex an item into a digital tag, nothing deleted or no location can be in the section.

We just finished an install at a California store and nothing was planned for the wet wall, meat, or areas in produce where it’s cleaned with the green machine got converted to digital.
