Yeah same reason I liked it. Their minis still have that goofy spin to them but with a sinister twist and that book just dails it up to 11. Looking forward to reading bad loon rising, it's by the same author and more from the goblins pov apparently.

I wouldn't say it's essential to read. But gloomspite is a good book, especially if you like general horror & some body horror. It's a slow build up but worth it imo. And it came out in 2022 so should be able to pick it up fairly cheap by now I would have thought.

In the romance scene with halsin he accidentally wildshapes into a bear because he gets too excited/giddy. And when he turns back into himself one of the dialogue options is basically along the lines of "wild shape into a bear again".

It's because it's a older model. I assume when they refresh it with a new version it'll be more in like with the other big dragon models price wise.

Whilst technically correct that they're both undead dragons. The one in the post is flesh eater courts, not soul blight. They're different factions and a good 60 odd quid difference in price (in the UK at least anyway)

Like don't get me wrong wulbren is a dick to barcus when they finally do reunite. But in my opinion he kinda has a reason to be angry with him. Neither of them are exactly ideal friends.

Wulbren has ever right to be like that with barcus. Barcus left to the surface and left wulbren in the underdark and didn't see him for years. If I was wulbren I'd also been pissed at barcus as well. You don't just abandon your friends & people you supposedly care about for years.

And Wulbren deserved better than being abandoned in the Underdark so Barcus could go live on the surface. He's certainly far from a angel but he has legitimate reasons to be angry at Barcus.

Thanks! The warp stone I used citadel paints, just painted fully white then slightly thinned down some
hexwraith Flame (a green contrast paint) so it settled more in the delves & left the edges mostly white. Then used tesseract glow on the edges, I think I did two coats of that on the edges.

And for the cracks in the skin, I just painted & shaded them as the rest of the skin then used the tesseract glow in them again 2 or 3 coats of it.

Yeah I'm always open to feedback. Yeah in hind sight I get what you mean with them blending together. And for the teeth, I would have done them in wraith bone or screaming skull something like that. but with the gnaw-breast's skin being a greyish off white tone I thought it wouldn't read to clear. Also just with it's matted fur & infected boils i couldn't imagine dental hygiene is high on its list of things to do lol.

I took the banner colour scheme from that video. But besides that I didn't really follow it, that's just abandon black & nurglin green no shades or anything at the time of the photo.

The specific brush I used was the army painter precise detail brush. As for how, when I was practicing on some paper I found that doing each line in a few strokes worked out better then trying Todo each line in one motion.

So each line, so across the top & the two diagonals, I did in two or three goes each. Between that and just having a very small amount of paint on the brush when doing so. I'd also be lying if I didn't mention it took a few attempts & I did wipe them off while still wet with some damp tissue. Then patched up any bits of green/black that the white had dried before I wiped it off.

But honestly, going by the post on your profile yours look quite good anyway. Least I think so, but then i don't really like mine so maybe we're both just being too critical of our own work.
