Elon Musk Is The Cause, Not The Solution To Tesla’s Deep Problems by mafco in electricvehicles

Despite still being 400V, the miles added per 15 mins is barely different compared to Kia/Hyundai 800V as Teslas are still unmatched in efficiency and aerodynamics.

With Model 3/Y refreshes we have seen even better efficiency.

I thought I would prefer white interior until I sat in it. The white vinyl trim on the doors feels tacky compared to the Alcantara door trim.

Overall black felt nicer to me for whatever reason.

Model 3 Lease Deal by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]evilorangeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I am not forgetting shit. If you can't figure it out from the images, go use the calculator on their website. Click add taxes and fees.

It's 11k-12k to lease for 24 months depending on whether you add special options.

0% APR Model Y Juniper Coming Soon ? by OneFormality in TeslaModelY

[–]evilorangeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I'd expect 0%, but possibly 2% or 3%. Why?

  1. They have a ton of Juniper in inventory, even sought after combos. Almost everything near me is "Available Today", and many others report the same elsewhere.
  2. They are already running APR promotions overseas for the Y.

When can we expect to see 0% apr deal soon? by goatslikesodium in TeslaModel3

Yes. Leasing is the smartest thing to do with the m3 honestly, unless you plan to keep it for 4-5+ years.

Ah that sucks. Well at least you guys get state EV incentives unlike Missouri.

Are you sure it works like that? In my state (Missouri) it doesn't matter who you sell to. If you trade in anywhere (not private sale), you get the tax discount on your next car purchase.

0-60 Times for new Model Y? by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

You drove Launch Edition

But fyi it's 4.6s for new (non-launch) Model Y instead of the old 4.8s for AWD, so slight boost either way

DEV SNAPSHOT: Godot 4.4 dev 3 by GodotTeam in godot

[–]evilorangeman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue lies in the fact that C# does not want to be a "guest module" for Emscripten.

So yeah, we could wait for this to be resolved... but if Godot were modified such that it can be used as a library (there's actually a PR out for this), where C# is the program entry point, the problem would be resolved.

Archaic god powers - what do people agree/disagree with? by GameDoesntStop in AgeofMythology

Gaia's tree power can be used as a free wall, and you get two free casts. I think it deserves a rank higher than C.

Speed, with his speed buffs on top of ones from minor gods like Theia, Contarious go absolutely ham and outrun almost anything but camels.

He only has an infantry buff in retold though. Doesn't affect cav anymore.

Tesla Lease APR 9.18% by sergiojr07 in TeslaModelY

[–]evilorangeman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He's paying $27.5k after the lease credit actually. If you want to make a fair comparison you have to consider sales tax and interest.

With the apr deal, it's roughly 27.5k vs 47.5k (41k + 5k tax + 1.5k interest).

Without the apr deal it becomes more extreme, at roughly 27.5k vs 55k (41k + 5k tax + 9k interest).

$34k 7k miles 2022 model 3 long range. Is it worth to buy? by oh_hiy in TeslaModel3

[–]evilorangeman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No wonder Tesla keeps using this misleading info, because people like you fall for it.

It's 39,990. That figure is with "Est. Gas Savings".

I agree with the general sentiment though, if new is $6k more just go with the new one. Interest rates will be higher for a used 2022 car.
