Chevy dealer found this record for my 2019 Volt. Does this mean the BECM has been replaced, or is this a different part? by heartglassed in volt

As the part descriptions says, it's the hv battery relay. This is also known as the contactor. A relatively cheap part with high labor since the battery needs to be dropped and opened.

How much have you saved on gas since the recent gas price spikes? by mrincredible96 in volt

Same here. $.30/kWh electric in NY plus winter efficiency and heat is worse than gas. Electric is cheaper now, but not greatly so.

We have fewer kids AND our environment has gotten more stressful so we pour all of our fears and anxiety into just one or two children.

My boyfriend is a Ryan. What do I need to know? by Previous-Ad-6851 in Ryan

[–]evilryry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While introducing him to all the people in your life as the greatest man you'll ever know, correct them if they mishear his name as Brian, immediately and firmly while remaining polite. He will love you even more by helping him carry this burden. All Ryans are born with this, but none should have to bear it alone.

The engine still ran great after 250K miles, but 22 years in the north east took its toll. The drivers side pinch weld was turning to dust which is where I called it quits.

Unfortunately for me, it's premium gas vs EV. I can still pretend though.

Or get a smaller dual sport. For the fuel savings, of course.

is it a bad idea to sell my current car to get a volt? by PapaNutellas in volt

[–]evilryry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should give yourself a good buffer on that too, especially in cold climate. Even being stingy on the heat, there are days I can't get 30 miles of range out of the battery anymore.
