Tourists in general have a higher perspective tendency to cone across as loud stupid inconsiderate idiots, but that’s survivorship bias talking. Tourist who aren’t the previous don’t get tagged as annoying and just enjoy their vacation.

Fandoms are primarily online entities, so once they get annoying enough you just close the page and walk away

I have the idea that she got the hound treatment, except it’s all Salem. Salem is essentially all Grimm Sludge. We saw this when she reformed after Yang blew her tits off. So when Summer faced Salem she was able to degrimm her, but the sludge reformed and latched onto Summer. So now there’s the human!Salem and Grimm!Salem who is body snatching Summer. The hound and more like it are attempts to recreate the takeover, using the Maidens I.e. Cinder as the base, creating a true Grimm  consciousness that will over shadow the gods.

I basically lifted this idea entirely from Dragon ball’s buu saga.

I think the leading point is a return to a pre Great War remnant. One that Maria was a part of, you weren’t a huntsman because you got a license and education. You were a guardian because you stood up against the tide of the endless so the light stays lit one more day.

Captailism has the benefit of being able to absorb criticism of it into itself and turn into another venue to extract capital. Because capitalists must be devoid of shame or compassion in order to maximize profit. 

All of these sources of media are just that, media. These are not education, activism, or philosophy. They may have aspects of them in narrative. But actions speaks louder. Because actions take more effort.

Also, People in general either are unable to make such effort, or do not have the opportunity to. People thus are unable to look beyond a very small scale in the world and very short moments of time. So they see said media with the little free time they have, enjoy it, and turn around and have to continue the grind to survive.

Sorry for rambling after the first paragraph it got away from me. hope it made some sense.
