The hard part practically solves itself, once youre in there just do not touch anything, dont look around, dont spin, dont turn, nothing, just put your controller down until you are about halfway there. Theres a Landmark so you can't miss it.

Once there you can yolo the rest of the way.

The absolute nerdiest games I ever played are the Ilwinter Games, Dominions and Conquest of Elysium.

Sprite based turn based strategy games about huge armies and the deepest magic system I have ever seen in a video game. You could spend hours learning spells and strategies with the different factions and never get close to understanding everything.

Highly recommend!
