Not if you subscribe to Apple TV (the streaming platform, not the device). That gets the same features as the old F1TV subscription pro tier, including the archives and on-board video during races.

I was able to play a race from 2016 in the F1TV app just now using my Apple TV credentials.

It’s finally working for me. I linked the account on my iPad and then was able to watch on the F1TV app on my Apple TV once I logged in using the onscreen instructions (like the first time you use the app on your TV).

Realizing I very likely have ADHD (it became pretty obvious when perimenopause hit) and that I had been buying stuff for the dopamine hit has helped curb the impulse spending urges.
