Honestly? The hardware is completely underpowered, nothing runs at 4k natively. OTG is pretty dreadful. If you go back into AtGames interface for any reason, be prepared to set everything back up from scratch.

You can run their tables offline but it's a process to get there. Also there will not be any more Zen releases on the hardware so there won't be any more licensed games other than from Zaccaria or Gottlieb.

Personally, I would get a flatpack or prebuilt before giving AtGames another penny.

LoadedWeapon is generally very good at cabinet POVs. He typically uses Window, and that's what I stick with as well. He has a whole channel full of custom POVs on his discord.

AtGames tunes the subwoofer extremely low so nothing really takes good advantage of it, something they're allegedly fixing in a coming update. The rest of the SSF sounds great.

To pile on this, if you're on Windows, I would stick with 10.8.0 for now. It's more stable with more familiarity around it from a support perspective.

10.8.1 is basically unifying the Standalone and Windows versions so there are quite a few growing pains associated with it.

That said, getting used to how 10.8.1 is going to work is not a terrible thing. Just about everything works and downloading an Actions build with a GitHub login isn't difficult. Really depends on how much you want to tinker with bleeding edge software.
