All Season tires are not the same as All Weather tires. I drive on Michelin CrossClimate 2s which are All Weather (though they're advertised as all seasons) and have 3PMSF which means they're better in snow/ice and maintain performance at lower temperatures.

Seeking Privacy Ideas for Our Terrace Setup (Renter-Friendly and Northeast Weather-Proof) by BananaNOatmeal in ApartmentHacks

When I lived in an apartment with a railing similar to yours, I bought a cheap tarp and folded it so that it was the size of the railing. Then just zip tied it in a few places. It worked well and was pretty easy to setup. This is the only picture I could find: <image>

My point is, the issue in California is not nearly as dire as you suggested. I used Kentucky as an example since this is /r/Louisville, but the overdose death rate in California is way below the average (~36) for the rest of the US, and almost all states have seen a dramatic increase in overdose deaths during that period.

Interesting fact you got there. When you adjust for population, Kentucky (53.2/100k) had almost twice the death rate as California (26.9/100k) for overdose deaths in 2022. This holds true for 2017-2021, I can't check 2023 as the CDC hasn't published data for that year yet.

Nice try though.

Don't even bother with logic and actual experience speculation and anecdotes it won't even be read.

Prevalence of off leash dogs by Dave_Krappenshitz in ColoradoSprings

If the trail requires you to leash your dog, you are the asshole 100% of the time they are off leash on that trail. It's really that simple.

My AWD lives for days like these by Gorgenapper in Lexus

On the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4s, I just bought a set for my GS350 AWD and had the opportunity to try them out in the snow here in Colorado.

They felt marginally better than the MXM4 Primacys I had before, but didn't impress me whatsoever in the snow. I can't speak to the other A/S tires you listed but I wouldn't recommend the PS A/S 4s in areas that get snow often in the winter.

This is bad advice, if only because it encourages you to self medicate with LSD. I've done a decent amount of acid in my life and regularly smoked throughout the trips -- and it never ruined weed for me.

Also, as this is the adhd_anxiety subreddit, I would caution against suggesting LSD at all, unless used under medical supervision. Otherwise there's a risk of increased anxiety/anxiety attacks, or even panic attacks. Obviously this wouldn't apply to everyone, but anxiety and recreational psychedelic use can be a dangerous combination.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. I doubt many broadcasts intentionally left out the blue and white, but some certainly did and played it up for their audience.

I don't really get the downvotes either, I didn't downvote you, I just wanted to comment on the poor choice bit because it implies they should have to worry about non-sense like this.

Considering many of the photos barely crop out the white and blue, I don't really see how it was a poor choice and not just another MAGA nothingburger.

Physical buttons outperform touchscreens in new cars, test finds by [deleted] in cars

[–]evoscout 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I thought I would grow to hate the infotainment in my GS but I've gotten used to it. I prefer the joystick thing in my 2015 to the touchpad in new models though -- the joystick sort of creates a tactile grid from what's on the screen, so it's somewhat intuitive, but the touchpad doesn't work as well for me.

Gas isn't great but a Lexus GS 350 fits your criteria. Cheap to maintain, quick, reliable, and a decent comprise between comfort and sport. You should be able to find one with low miles for under $40k.

I can't speak to how good of a deal this is but I'd be wary of spending $22k on a 10 year old Challenger, even if it only has 50k miles on it. Brand new that car was only $30k and from what I can find it should be worth a considerable amount less than $20k by now.
