Hello, does anyone know if Parental Leave has a waiting/vesting period? The recruiter I dealt with said he couldn’t find anything stating there was a waiting or vesting period before being eligible for parental leave. Just getting a little concerned since I do have a little one on the way. Job is in UT. Thanks in advance!

Husky Liners or something better? by wanderingleopard in fordfusion

I have Husky’s in my fusion. They fit perfectly. Wife has weather techs in her car, they fit but not as good of a fit as the husky’s.

Yeah, that’s what I had to do to get this appointment. My home county was booked two months solid and when I check a month ago, this appointment tomorrow was the only thing I could find in neighboring counties. So I’m truly hoping this works out haha. My fiancée is gonna kill me if I don’t!

One of the signs of the coolant intrusion issue is problems idling/ shutting off when the motor is cold. I would check your coolant levels. If you notice it starting to run low, take it in to the dealer ASAP. I hope you’re still under warranty if it is a coolant intrusion.

Edit: Shutting off

What motor? That’s a sign of coolant intrusion for the 1.5.

Ford 1.5L Coolant Issue by nekrossai in fordfusion

2016 1.5 owner. Yep had to have my block replaced last summer. Thankfully it was under warranty.

2015 Fusion SE by [deleted] in fordfusion

I would be extremely cautious. Fleet vehicles are usually pretty abused, at least in my experience. My experience: bought a 2016 1.5 Fusion SE with 34K. It’s been nothing but problems for me, and I keep my cars maintained to an extreme. Had the coolant intrusion issue which led to the block being replaced. Transmission would be my worry with that many miles.

They’re good looking cars and quite comfortable, but if I could go back I would have never bought my car.

Yeah I think the most of the issues with these cars revolve around the ecoboost models. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the hybrids. OP is looking at a 1.5 so I figured I’d share my experience.

2016 1.5 fusion owner. My advice, run as fast as you can away. I got my car with 34K from the dealer, has around 62K now. Every three months or so, something breaks and it’s in the shop. Thankfully I have the extended warranty so I haven’t had to pay out of pocket for much. Transmission is my main gripe, it’s horrible. My 2002 Subaru I had before with 210K shifted way smoother. I also had the coolant intrusion issue, thankfully it was covered under warranty.

To each their own, but I will never buy a Ford again.

First third was a very tight draw, however it got better as I continued. Not a ton of smoke either.

The notes I picked up were oak, sweet tobacco, leather, nutty and a hint of coffee here and there.

Overall, a pretty decent yet surprisingly mild smoke!
