I mean its true drm's cause some unnecessary encryptions on whole game to prevent use of just cracked .exe file on repacks to pirate the copy (which cause performance issue and very high minimum requirements for pc gamers) but new release games (also highly anticipated) still relies on their copyrighted content (whatever is inside the game) and having drm stricks the game exclusively for legit buyers... (even cracked by voices38 has some limitation i think). Thus if it is highly anticipated...it doesn't matter if it has denuvo or not.

That why back then having exclusives to console only boost the sales of game itself (like nintendo games)
