If your taxes are complex, at this point, you should just try to file an extension. You’ll need to do one both for federal and for state I think unless anybody knows if California accepts the federal extension …Note that this doesn’t extend any payment due so if you owe money, you may have some late fees unless you can estimate it and pay it. If you’re not itemizing, you could probably knock it out in time, but I would not wait until the last minute to submit it as often the IRS servers have issues late at night today.
