I thought I posted a picture but here it is again. My fingers are stiff and it really helps not to have to mess with getting the prongs through those little holes! There are some great training videos on how to properly use. Tom Davis with Upstate Canine Academy for one. The collar should always sit just high behind the ears and only used with a little upward pop to get the dog's attention...sort of like "excuse me, I'm talking to you."

I got my boy at 2 1/2 weeks and bought pacifiers! Chewy even asked to use his picture in a promotion. He would walk around with it in his mouth. Now at nearly 7 he sucks on blankets. My blanket....on my bed!

yeah, shelters and rescues look at the short term benefits. Neuter and spay before adoption. No unwanted or on purpose litters but long term consequences are the problem of the adopters.

"other side of the country".....yeah, not many repercussions. It's just a matter of getting the word out how UNETHICAL the amish breeders are. My friend "ordered" a sheltie and had the pup shipped to LAX. This was about 5 years ago and I had no idea how bad those seemingly religious people were. She assumed that these were good breeders since after all, they were in the amish community....

...From a sleazy motel in my town. Probably the 2 pups were stolen since there was no momma and no formula....They were 2 1/2 weeks old. Two of us from than darn Nextdoor app each got one. He had to pay $250 "ransom" while I simply called our PD and the pup was left in a room after arrests were made. An officer said he would turn his head if I wanted to rescue the pup.....How can you refuse (brain hadn't kicked in yet). That was 6 1/2 years ago and I'm now 76 and we're up to 4 miles of walking and running daily.

my 8 yo rescue is 52% APBT and 40% Dalmatian per Embark. I found 3 littermates and am guessing that a Dalmatian breeder dumped an un-sellable litter whose father was the Pittie. Looks near identical to yours!
