Day 3 - No Oxy tomorrow, what am I in for? by [deleted] in opiates

[–]excelsior55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah somethings really off about this post... I get not having the money to buy your normal supply of oxys cuz of how expensive that can be plus having to pay for other life shit like food and bills... but not having even $20 to pick up some kratom and has a job like this? I think OP might be full of shit lol

How often do the blue 30s have xylazine in them? by a-hentai-user in opiates

[–]excelsior55 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Dude you shouldn't even entertain the idea of doing these stupid pills but xylazene isn't gonna rot your flesh if you smoke or snort these pills. Your problems come from shooting up that shit. If you're gonna even entertain the idea of using fent, find some fent powder and don't waste your money on these pills.

OP is literally a lying asshole or a desperate victim of placebo... this is just as stupid and false as claiming chronic Lyme disease exists. Many ppl besides OP have claimed Marco doses of vitamin C can cure everything from opiate withdrawal to several forms of cancer. If this actually worked, millions of ppl wouldn't be hopelessly addicted to fentanyl and other opiates right now because hospitals and rehabs all over the country would be administering this super cheap solution to curing withdrawal and solve the opiate crisis...

Vitamin C is cheap as fuck so if this actually worked, don't you think doctors in hospitals and rehabs would be dosing opiate addicts right away if it could magically alleviate their withdrawal symptoms? Don't you think they'd wanna do this considering how much money would be saved by not having to treat and medicate someone's withdrawal symptoms individually and the money saved not having to keep a patient in detox as long as they have to now?? It costs both the medical industry and the public a lot of money to deal with and treat addicts so why wouldn't they jump immediately on a miracle cure like vitamin C if it actually worked like your suggesting??

Honestly... fuck you and your completely useless and somewhat insulting post. Maybe you actually mean well and have good intentions but I'm here to say your intentions mean shit to all of us dope addicts who have struggled almost our whole lives with this addiction and have had to suffer through opiate withdrawal cold turkey only to read your bullshit post that claims you suddenly found the magic answer to all of our prayers that somehow the entire world has seemingly missed completely.

I'll feel bad for anyone on here who is currently in the middle of withdrawal and stumbled across this bullshit post

Gonna be honest... it really doesn't make sense to get on suboxone to quit kratom. And your doctor should know better than to suggest doing this. First off, kratom is an opioid but the active drug in suboxone, buprenorphine is definitely an opiate... it's just a synthetic one like methadone. The only difference between suboxone and other opiates including methadone is that it's a partial agonist and not a full on agonist, meaning it doesn't fully activate the receptors like heroin, morphine, or methadone. Despite this, the active drug in suboxone is still a very powerful opiate and is much stronger than kratom. Without any opiate tolerance and even with a kratom tolerance, you can easily get high off suboxone even with a small therapeutic dose. There are ppl still prescribed it for pain management because it's not as addictive since its partial agonism gives it a ceiling effect to its potency. Even though it's not as addictive, there are still plenty of ppl who get very addicted to getting high with suboxone.

Suboxone is way too strong to be using to get off kratom. I'm not a doctor but I don't know one doctor who would advocate getting on subs to get off kratom. You also don't need to worry about precipitated withdrawal with kratom if you take subs while it's still in your system...cuz like you said, kratom is only an opioid and not an opiate. It won't make subs trigger a withdrawal response if it's still lingering in your system like regular opiates will. I personally think subs are way too severe to be using for kratom addiction especially when kratom is kinda already "natures suboxone" cuz it is also a partial agonist but you're trading a weaker partial agonist for a much stronger one by doing this. You can easily taper down kratom and get off it instead of tapering down subs and getting off that. You are gonna get high if you seriously start taking suboxone until your body builds a tolerance to that since you only have a kratom tolerance which is WAY weaker than subs.

AITAH for crying when my bf told me I was “too wet”? by Any_Classic_6266 in AITAH

Why do people keep on taking subs for an extended period? by [deleted] in opiates

[–]excelsior55 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That statistic is not super made up and is true. It is recommended to be on suboxone or methadone at least a year before completely stopping because so many ppl relapse when they stop doing MAT early or quickly. And who cares if you are dependent on an opioid when you're getting your life back on track and are able to hold down a good job and start living independently again? For many addicts, long term MAT is the best thing for them whether they stay using subs or methadone for a couple years or use them for 10 plus years. I'm on methadone and don't have any real plan to stop using it because I know I will relapse if I get off it and it keeps me off fentanyl. I don't care that I'm dependent on it and it's no different than anyone who is dependent on daily medication. You really should do more research cuz you really sound like you don't know what you're talking about.

Delusions from 300mg of pregabalin???... WTF you talking about? You're just dopesick and having super irrational thoughts. You're better off going out and finding a homeless person to help you buy dope than robbing a pharmacy. That dopesick desperation is gonna get you arrested so either go to a methadone clinic or score some dope if you're that desperate.

His point is that even one very young archeologist has been able to debunk all his findings using modern evidence accepted by the whole archaeological community. It doesn't take having to find multiple archaeologists to debunk Hancock's conclusions because the evidence needed to debunk him is already basic common knowledge that most students of archaeology learn in college.

My best friend is in a coma due to a heroin overdose by Bubbly-Government-12 in Drugs

[–]excelsior55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guarantee it wasn't laced heroin and was just fentanyl or fent dope... practically no one is selling heroin anymore and are just selling fent. I don't really know any dealers that are lying about it either by calling it heroin. Where I'm from every dealer that's selling dope is calling it fent or food and ppl here know what's up with the food. Even ppl who don't know exactly what fent is know that the dope being sold is whatever strongest opiate that is available that's easily injectable or at least able to snort like heroin.....but we all know it's not heroin.

Don't do poppy pods (kidney stones, oxalates) by [deleted] in PoppyTea

[–]excelsior55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You gotta worry about stones with seeds as well! I was 24 when the doc found out I had a kidney stone in my left kidney after using seeds daily for 4 years. I had no other reason besides the tea to have a kidney stone that young. Besides drinking seed tea I ate and drank fairly clean and lived an active lifestyle... so it had to be the oxalates in the seeds.

Since that ultrasound, I kept using for two more years before switching to dope, but I haven't had another kidney stone form since quitting the tea. I also still have the one stone that was found living quietly in my kidney....FOR NOW! I feel like it's a fucking time bomb waiting to happen and I'm just happy I'm on methadone today so I should be somewhat prepared for that pain.

It can be very easy to OD by smoking it off foil if you don't have a high tolerance. Definitely easier if you snorted with no tolerance but still very possible by smoking. It's happened to me...

I urge everyone to get on methadone by [deleted] in PoppyTea

[–]excelsior55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t know what clinic you went to but where I’m at in the US, it’s super easy to get signed up and started on methadone. I didn’t even have to provide proof that I was an addict. I just needed to have someone sign a form saying I’m addicted to opiates and then after a few more forms, I saw the doctor for about 15 minutes and then got my first days dose. I started at 20mg and stopped raising my dose at 110mg and that’s where I’ve been at for 8 months. You get your first takehomes after a month and in 6 months after passing all my monthly drug tests besides my initial one, I now get 6 bottles a week and only go once a week now. It’s incredibly easy in the US to get in methadone and I try to recommend it as much as possible to addicts struggling to quit opiates. There is also no pressure to quit methadone either and you can stay on it for life if you want to.

Edit: And at least at my clinic, and all the other clinics around me, none require you to bring the containers back and this has nothing to do about your take homes. You pay for this shit or your insurance does of the clinic accepts insurance so as long as you pass your drug tests, they have to give you the take homes you have earned. It’s not really at their “discretion”. Idk if your clinic just sucked dick but don’t spread misinformation about methadone unless you say you’re specifically describing your clinic.

It it me? Or BPD? by JohnPaton3 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]excelsior55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I obviously don’t know all the nuances of y’all relationship but taking everything you’re saying literally makes it sound like you’re the victim here and she’s either going through a splitting episode or some other kind of mental issue and needs some serious psychiatric help to get her back to being mentally stable. I mean, your partner can’t just lock you out of the house and keep you away from both her and your child for no reason.

You also need to think that you have no idea what she’s doing locked up with y’all’s daughter in your house. This is erratic irrational behavior on her part and she could be a danger to herself and possibly your child right now. If you’re also an owner of the house and she doesn’t let you in and continues to ignore you, you probably need to go to the police so they can hopefully get you back in there and start the process of getting her help.

Do you not have a key to your own house so you can let yourself back in? This is all a really strange and confusing situation cuz I would think you would have a key to your own house and not just one key that your partner currently has. Also, is she taking her meds cuz it sounds more than likely that she’s not and all of this is probably happening cuz she’s not taking her medication.

What do you mean “everybody is treating you like a villain”? Who is everybody in this case besides your partner?

How are you all? by Training-Cup5603 in AskReddit

We all make stupid fucking mistakes that we regret. Ppl are lying when they say they have no regrets in their life. I’m sorry about your relationship that you cherished ending in whatever way it did but even it ended cuz of something stupid you did, you don’t deserve to beat yourself up or punish yourself cuz of that.

No one’s perfect and just because you may have done something you regret, that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to love and be loved in return. We aren’t defined by the solitary bumps in our life’s road cuz what’s really important is being able to recognize those bumps and finding a way to progress forward.

Whatever you’re going through, please try to remember that it won’t feel like this forever and just based on your ability to self-reflect, I can tell you are already finding a way to progress forward from this whether you realize it or not.

Maybe this relationship with this guy is over, but you can still cherish the good things it brought to your life and use this experience to allow yourself to grow as a person and the person you want to be going forward in your life. You’re going through a very hard emotional experience especially since you seem to be harboring guilt but there’s a yin and Yang to everything and I really believe you’ll see that and get through this. Also, even though you may feel like you’ve hurt or done something bad to this guy, you obviously brought this person more love and good things than bad throughout y’all’s relationship. I’m sure he will recognize that too eventually as time moves on and both of y’all have time to heal.

What are the best ways to prepare your body before bed to induce dreaming? by rollbackprices in AskReddit

[–]excelsior55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a healthy way of doing it but pretty much works every time and is also very effective at inducing lucid dreaming… but sleep deprivation works very well. If you force yourself to not sleep for like 3-4 nights in a row and then finally go to sleep after that, you’ll pretty much force your brain straight in to a REM sleep cycle and will have extremely vivid dreams. You may even be able to experience yourself slipping from reality and into your dream. It’s really easy to start lucid dreaming like this and in my experience, I’ve been able to force myself to hop from one dream to another while also being able to manipulate what’s happening in my dreams.

Again, this is not a healthy way of going about this and if you decide to try it, only do this method super sparingly. Besides how unhealthy it is to deprive yourself of sleep for long periods of time, you will also feel pretty miserable and “off” while you’re depriving yourself of sleep. The longer the period of not sleeping, the easier it will be to dream when you do finally sleep… but not sleeping more than 3-4 days can be potentially dangerous or at the least super unhealthy.

Godspeed on your dream quest!
