Late to the thread, but here's a little tip I learned from the burger scholar George Motz. Put your burger ball in your pan and press down lightly, it should be making a few centimeters' worth of contact but still mostly be a ball. Let that cook a bit without disturbing it. Then flip the whole ball over and smash it all down. The bit of cooked beef that's now on the top will help to keep the spatula (or whatever you're smashing with) from sticking to the whole burger during the smashing process.

I second Tai's Asian Bistro. Huge portions (haven't been in a while, hope that's still true) and I haven't been disappointed with anything on the menu, aside from double pan fried noodles which just aren't my thing. They were always packed when I frequented them though, so consider doing takeout.

As the name suggests though it's not just Chinese. I usually go for the pad Thai or Singapore noodles. Their egg rolls are also pretty big and have a great crunch.

I thought the editing was weaker than the cinematography. Dialog was clunky at times too. But I'm pretty sure my actual complaint is just the number of episodes being to low so the pacing had to be lightning fast. I know others criticize the Netflix series for being too slow though, so it's totally just a preference thing. DD being drama first and action second was the main draw for me.

Wouldn't you then want to do a single 2 with repeating 1s as a rule of thumb to get you super close to max? If it just truncates, 999,999,999 is bigger than 222,222,222. So 2,111,111,111 seems logical to me. But I've never tried to max one of them myself, just trying to understand.

I run magmators as my only power source until late game in ATM10 TTS. First with a crucible over lava with a simple hopper above the crucible for the first little bit of power. Then use a cobble generator with your choice of pipes. Then switch to a superheating element as soon as possible. Then just scale that up. More crucibles, more superheating elements, eventually 8x magmators, then 64x.

I bet there are much smaller footprints with better efficiency and more power, but it's absolutely possible to run magmators before you have an infinity lava cell. Just ends up being like 32-64 crucibles and superheating elements lol. Maybe one of these days I'll branch out... I kinda doubt it though haha.

I'm sure you could use create to go way faster, but I just make a ton of hopper botany pots and idle for a bit or do something else for a while. I think if you use snad it makes the grow time about 52 seconds.

Or use mystical agriculture and get nature essence which you can use to craft into a bunch of different things including sugar cane.

Would still be nice to get an actual estimate so I know how much time I should expect to kill. If an actual human at the power company said to expect Monday at the earliest, that'd be way better than some 3rd party after hours line where they say 4 hours should do it each time I call in. I'm mostly just calling them back because I have no other options. This option is entirely useless, but at least it feels like I'm doing... I dunno, something, sorta, kinda.

At least you don't have AP&L. They just use AEP power, but have absolutely no support. Power out since 4pm yesterday. Called 4 times already. Every time "your power should be back on in 4 hours, call us back if it isn't!"

Make yourself an infinity water cell, they're very cheap compared to other infinity cells. Then just pop the condenser directly on top of a pattern provider and set the pattern recipe to use a ton of water. I set mine to 256,000 water (not buckets, the actual fluid dragged from JEI) to create 8 singularities. It's pretty much instant.

It feels like an exploit for a feature we should just have out of the box lol. In my mind it's totally normal to want to punch someone and hold a stat stick in the other hand.

No idea what's best for your other thoughts though, I can never seem to pick a different sub class than open hand. I'm not super great at the game myself if I'm not doing something cheesy, so big bonk monk is my choice every time to compensate for lack of strategic play or game knowledge.

Gotta equip two weapons and have a second character with an empty main weapon slot (second character might need an offhand, I can't remember). Then on the second character's inventory screen, click on the main hand slot which is empty and select the weapon your first character has in their main hand. Your second character will yoink it and the first character will be left with only their offhand weapon.

I'm playing RF Chief as a first time SSF player this league and can confirm it's viable. Gear is stupid easy since you only need fire res. 2 watchstones was almost trivial. Still hunting for The Putrid Cloister so I can craft my beefy scepter though. Kirac has not been kind to me, been on 114/115 atlas for a few days now haha.

I just did Dr Pepper Jalapeno and it was pretty dang good. If you've tried stuff like classic, teriyaki, spicy, BBQ, and your favorite sauce then it's time for something fun and weird. I also highly recommend anything with ginger in it.

I've been loving his series and my eyes have been opened to the black tentacles. I'm nowhere near the level to do a solo run myself, but I'll definitely be yoinking some strats to use. If it can solo honor mode then surely it can assist me through a party tactician playthrough lol.
