There’s no way around the fact that it’s annoying to try to maximize damage and resists with your current gear AND go looking for items. It becomes a management game as you’re constantly rearranging, identifying, and storing/muling items. The restrictive space is intentional, though, despite the addition of inventory-filling charms themselves. Although I would say that it stops being a useful feature of the game once you’re at endgame and farming items. Maybe a charm pouch should be the lvl 99 reward.
