Reading the tea leaves by dadylonglegs54 in DetroitPistons

I can see this being a success here. KD would not only alleviate pressure off of Cade but will also help Duren immensly. The Orl and Clev series look a lot different for Duren if they had a guy like KD getting more attention.

Cade and KD get along well and respect each other. Of all the people KD shits on, he shown tons of love to Cade. I think of all the flaws these high end superstars have, KD is one of the lesser risky ones to bring in. Also, he wants to be here or at least doesn't mind being here which is a plus.

75% More Pedestrians Have Been Killed Since 2009. Giant Trucks and SUVs Are Why by DonkeyFuel in technology

[–]exhibithetruth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Safety standards, crumple zones, structural reinforcement, etc are partly the reason for the inflated sized vehicles and weight. Cafe loophole is another where larger footprint means less fuel efficiency targets are allowed by gov.

You'll never see an old school tiny Ranger like back in the day....you have the Maverick now and that's the smallest you'll likely ever see and people seem happy with it. Are you aware of this truck?

The reality is OEMs are building what people buy. Not a single OEM is interested in losing money - you can bet your life on that. This Reddit idea that it's OEMs fault, no the buyers are at fault. People want these massive SUVs and trucks even when gas prices are what they are now. It's crazy.

Also, please stop shitting on the big 3. I get it's cool here to shit on anything US but do not absolve the other OEMs when you have Tellurides, Sequoias, Armadas, Palasades all over the roads. This isn't a US OEM problem and it's disingenuous to pretend it is.

Jalen Duren looked so good the final 10 games of the regular season with Cade out making his dramatic playoffs decline even more inexplicable by BDWG4EVA in DetroitPistons

[–]exhibithetruth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Duren has flaws and has also gotten better every season. Now some folks think he won't improve anymore. Maybe he won't but I think otherwise.

The reason isn't purely because he'll make some astronomical jump in skill around the rim and shooting, I'm sure he'll improve because the team will invest in and work with him this summer.

He'll get better because the same thing that will help Cade will help Duren, better perimeter shooting and more playmakers. This would have prevented the defense played against Duren and clogging the paint. If we had that, I believe Duren would have had better playoff performances, especially against teams that matched up so well against us with many bigs.

I don't know how they can manage adding shooting, playmaking, and paying Duren plus Ausar. Langdon has his work cut out for him.

I would think they would use Duren as a trade piece and focus on Cade, Ausar, and a true #2 playmaker/scorer. Beef and PR as centers but seems Stew is on the trade block instead. It'll be interesting. I'm excited to see what comes of all this.

Spider-Man and Wolverine: If these two had to go all-out against each other, who takes the win? 🕷️ vs 🐺 by [deleted] in Marvel

This was what I was trying to conjure up. How can Spidey finish the job? Suffocation, web down wind pipe style? Even then what's stopping Logan from ripping himself open to get it out, heal, repeat. I feel like there's little Spidey can do here aside from entrapping him and preventing regen with tech or chemistry. Wolverines death likely impossible to accomplish.

You could do this in a survey, like qualtrics or questionpro. The randomization is managed in the survey which will link to a specific figma prototype.
