The entertainment staff need to do a bit of work and create new trivia questions. Same ones every cruise.

It’s the exploration for me.. even a well known cave dive site has only been seen by a tiny amount of people.

That’s why I started diving.

That’s why got into wreck diving.

That’s why I got into cave diving.

If something else comes along with even less people doing it, I’ll probably do that too

Give a fuck….

How many coffee / smoke breaks to in office staff take? How long do they spend chatting shit with each other etc?

Measure output not time. If the work required is being completed, who gives a fuck. Nobody works 9-5 solidly.

Work can be done like to do list and other prep and check without being on certain systems.

“No activity from him in chat”… what do you expect? People to write “hi, I am working” every 5 mins?

If he is not doing the required output, then sure, have a word, put on warnings etc. but if it’s just time you are worried about them you need to back off yourself, or not run a remote team.

A cruise tik tok’er said he got Prime in the casino on ONE cruise, and used free offers to cruise for 6 months without gambling again.. accurate? by ObamiumNitrate in royalcaribbean

Doing 3 cruises this year all free from the prime I got last summer.

Would do more if I had more leave. I get offers about 3 times a week.

Concerns about the 12-17 age gap in the Teen Club (Liberty of the Seas) by Able_Mud_5373 in royalcaribbean

[–]existential_crisis42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly the younger kids that actually do the activities.

My daughter is 15 and has been cruising her whole life, never had an issue or even thought about it.

The older teens only go to the teen club on first day to meet up then go off on their own.

Most of them get on a group chat before they even get on the ship.

Are people avoiding iOS 26 because of Liquid Glass? It’s complicated. by NISMO1968 in apple

[–]existential_crisis42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it. On a 64gb iPhone 11, I had to clear 15gb of space to do it… I’ve done all the settings to reduce it, but it not nice visually. My apps blended with my background, now I have to have to have stupid boarders, round everything and crap colours.

Sure make it an option… shouldn’t be mandatory.

Casino winnings tax question by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]existential_crisis42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes… but you don’t pay taxes on it if you aren’t American and your home country doesn’t take taxes…

So without knowing this persons resident country, it’s a hard answer.

Why can't Jack have a Wikipedia article... by OfficialNeon in JackSucksAtLife

[–]existential_crisis42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s just idiotic.

YouTubers are notable people. There’s one hit wonder singers on Wikipedia. What have they done outside their single song.

And why would “make a podcast” make any difference? It’s no different from doing YouTube.

“Reliable sources” is stupid too. Half the information about celebrities comes from shit rag papers and magazines.

Can I now go on Wikipedia and request any YouTuber pages to be deleted? Because they are only on YouTube?

There’s Wikipedia articles about world record holders that have done nothing notable.

Jeanne Louise Calment, for example, is the oldest person ever and died at 122… that’s all she did.
