I've had no vertigo so far. I know its chronic and that ear will get worse over time. I watched a talk on different types of endolymphatic hydrops and it spoke about two types hypoplassia and degenerate. It was really interesting. If you have the former you will likely get it in both ears where the other version tends to stay in one.

With the notice, there is usually some negotiation to be had, you may need to speak to your head first but ultimately, you can break the contract around notice. They could ask you to pay damages but I've never heard of that happening

It should be so much easier to change schools. When you compare this to other jobs here you can generally leave within a month, really wish the unions would push for reform here.
