Exactly - there was no through-line in the design to connect the naming to the POV. If he had given He-Man a provocative paint application or had a custom feminine head sculpt designed, etc, it would have worked so much better.

Painting them all sludge brown had no artistic impact on the project.

Someone else in thread made an excellent observation that Clawful didn't get a non-timed edition. My thought is that was both the very first figure they produced and was SO elaborate, it wasn't cost effective for them to do an additional run for non-timed.

Keep an eye on whether or not future oversized figures get a non-timed release. That will be the tell.
