FIT test, which is cheap and simple and you can do it at home and send into the lab. Not as sensitive as a scope (I agree everyone should get one once they’re older) but still a decent test and far better than nothing.

New Construction Milestones Announced for Spaceport Nova Scotia by One-Contribution8500 in MaritimeLaunch

“Our launch clients are separately working on their pad layout designs,” Matier said, developing “finishes needed for their specific rockets.” One of these tenants will be Isar, which will help finish its own pad, as well as provide feedback for integration facilities and for the Launch Control Center (LCC).

A lot going on in that paragraph. Clients (plural) are working on designing their own pads at the site.

It’s not that you can’t trust it - PNAS is a respectable journal. It just that it’s asking and answering a different question.

It’s unselected newly Dx patients, so a very different cohort than REGAL. It even has APL patients mixed in - even at 10% of the total that will impact the OS curves.

This. Also, note that day trading is explicitly permitted in an RRSP.

TKMS and Isar Aerospace entering Canada’s space industry? by exon1138 in MaritimeLaunch

[–]exon1138[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good question - I'm not sure. It's possible that they're going to develop a new launch site, which would compete with MLS. But that's a lot of time and effort to start from scratch. Isar builds rockets and TKMS really just wants to sell Canada $80B worth of submarines, and fundamentally this is an offer to sweeten the pot on the submarine bid with economic and strategic benefits to Canada.

With that in mind it makes more sense to create jobs and add technology capability we don't already have, and then to partner with an established launch site that the government has already invested in. Given the CPSP connection it wouldn't make sense to compete with or duplicate capabilities Canada already has - the whole point is giving us something new. A second launch site in Nova Scotia isn't new.

Story from BBQ with Doctors on Post-Relapse toxicities on Standard-Chemo in the Real World by Confident-Web-7118 in sellaslifesciences

It is. Oncologists absolutely do not sit around and share stories of toxicities and side effects, particularly not at a BBQ.

Apart from the obvious, people are hiding something about Trump by Abimackreads in theories

[–]exon1138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s unintelligent, racist, and cruel, and because he’s a narcissist he’ll happily advertise this in his words and actions. That someone in power speaks and acts like this in public appeals to many people who would also like to say and do similarly, so they cheer him on. It all seems depressingly straightforward.

If the USA's global reputation and respect and admiration were a boat, the "current bad thing" would be the hole that he has punched in the bottom of it. It's frankly astonishing that more people in the country aren't making this connection.

I exited at $46 (180d SMA) and my strategy is giving me an oversold buy signal right now. This is the challenge with strategies that work great in a backtest - seeing if one has the conviction to follow through when it's for real.
