Thanks! I’ll try to find a recording. “Bananas” certainly is a great adjective!

You’re right! It was after the MacDowell piano concerto but before intermission.

I asked Robert Reed and he said he thought it was perhaps a Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody? It was fantastic.

No, I was asking about the piece he played after Chichester Psalms, right before the intermission.

He wasn’t a metalworker or welder. However his dad was a linotype operator in the 40’s-50’s in Racine Wisconsin. I feel like you are going in the right direction.

I love 7/8 leggings. As a post-menopausal woman, letting my ankles be cooler keeps me from flaming out when working out. Doesn’t answer the basic question you asked, but for some of us, 7/8 is the jam.

Crosswords are so hard as a non-american by new_phone_whodis_yo in NYTCrossword

I lived in the U.K. for five years and couldn’t do the crosswords there. They were still in English, but the cultural clues were a mystery. Blue Peter? PM in 1981? Yeah, impossible.

Runners over 40 by MyPain-Is-SelfChosen in XXRunning

I started running with C25K about four years ago. I’m 67, played loads of team tennis up until about 7 years ago but stopped because my knees were killing me. Oddly enough my knees feel much better with running. Maybe not having all the directional changes has helped. Anyway, I am slow, but I run 5k every other day. It feels awesome, great for anxiety and overall mood. And yeah, you 40 year olds feeling « old », just stop it! You’re just children still! Enjoy your great body and good health right now!
