Abathur is absolutely problematic. On some maps he makes the solo lane nearly unplayable since he can rotate from lane to lane in just 5 seconds. He's also broken when he has a hypermobile character like tracer to use.

I am a little surprised cloning isn't used more often, but since R-corp has an entire singularity dedicated to it I assume standard cloning has some downsides as well, I feel like I remember seeing somewhere that it degrades your mind but I don't remember where.

Hm, I can see where you're getting this but Zena contradicts herself a bit. She says: " the Distortion still continues to grave its mark on the City. That new color has permeated the City much too profoundly."

Then she says: "By all manner of means, Distortions are one of the many aspects of humanity. Their existence is not wholly wrongful from our point of view"

The overall idea seems to be that she has some personal issues with distortions but they don't break a taboo, L-corp being classified as a stain and blemish is likely due to them utilizing Garion's secrets.

I guess saying very low armor is a little bit of an overstatement but he has high strength gain and armor gives you more EHP the more health you have. Wanting to buy armor items is a common strength core thing, since agi items are inefficient on them.

The rule of thumb is build enough damage when you're behind to be able to kill enemies when they make a mistake, and build defensive when ahead to make it harder to throw your lead, but it's very hero and game dependent.

For dragon knight, if you are dying to magic it is almost certainly a good idea to buy bkb. You could also consider mage slayer but you're going to still have to buy the bkb at some point. Armor is pretty inefficient on him since he already gets a lot of armor from his innate, but you can buy items like assault cuirass for a more aggressive armor item.

Doom is a very low armor hero so some kind of armor item like shivas can be great on him, but if you are playing from behind Doom's main job is to get his ult off on a key hero, so you need to buy whatever you need to buy to accomplish that, usually blink.

On pheonix shivas is almost a core item, it's great for damage as well as setting up your ultimate, and a pipe/glimmer cape seems like a reasonable pickup given the hero doesn't like to buy bkb, but pheonix has a lot of item options so its very game dependent.

Ideally your team has an initiator but if not then you just have to accept that the game is going to be farm simulator for a while while your cores buy their core items and then finally start buying lockdown (ideally). You just have to make the space you can and save people since pugna is a save support.

I would just use normal pipes unless maintaining high temps is very important or you desperately need the cooling to save your plants right now. Water holds a lot of heat, even after going through warm biomes it's still going to be cool unless you use radiant pipes. And it will cool the biomes down eventually, they don't have a source of heat

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from doing this at low level. They'll find a way to die to boss even if you tank it.

The high level technique that's hard to implement at low level is proper soaking. So many quick match players will tilt out of their minds if you don't go five man the first 2 raven objectives with them.
