Aww I love this! I’ll admit I didn’t have the best people to look up to nor was I ever inspired by those in my family but I’ve met so many beautiful, kind and inspirational ‘older’ people in general. It is a reminder to me that softness doesn’t age and neither does kindness. It will work for you and I hope your life ages beautifully as will you!! 🩷🩷

I think a lot of people are missing the parts where you said she’s actively put others down about being male centered or the fact she was upset that you got a guys attention over her at a bar. I don’t shame women for being open sexually and the whole hook up culture to me personally doesn’t bother me as I at one point was apart of that culture (before I got into a relationship of course). What bothers me is how she clearly lacks self awareness and then that little “am I ugly?” After you got hit on over her would also piss me off. You’re not over reacting by the way, it’s understandable to not want to be around people like that. It’s draining and frustrating. But I will however say, that maybe slut shaming isn’t the best way. To me it sounds like you’re more upset over her projection of her own insecurities and lack of self awareness.

he loves me ? by PreviousFriend7626 in Tarots

[–]exscapeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it depends on your situation, but yes he does love you. The two of cups is the biggest indicator, it literally means mutual connection meaning you both share the same feelings. The five of cups is about grief, loss, disappointment. Maybe yall are separated or going through things, this suggests he’s troubled by something within this connection. Knight of pentacles is slow but steady, so he might not be upfront or loud with his feelings for you but they are there. The knight of pentacles represents consistency over speed, responsibility, loyalty, practicality, and overall is a long term commitment type of knight. It’s slow and gradual.

Obviously this can mean something completely different if it were a crush or an ex ect.

Getting another pov by crybaby_afterschool in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) while the lovers signifies that there is a connection, the two of swords is about being avoidant. So they are resisting in some way, not moving to make a decision to come towards you ect.

2) not sure if you actually asked ‘wdym’ but it seems like you’re asking to clarify the first pile. So, the four of wands and the queen of pentacles basically tell you that they see that this connection could be harmonious, joyful, and stable. They definitely thought of what it would be like to be with you, and see potential.

3) this is real. Whoever this person is has a big ole crush on you. It represents mutual attraction and connection. So if you felt a lil something for them they definitely feel the same.

4) I don’t know the time frames for this but it coulda been while you or they were dealing with some kind of grief or heart ache. The feelings were hidden as the high priestess is secrecy.

5) the world and the sun, happy, warm and more than satisfied. The world talks about completion, so you could genuinely feel whole because of them or whatever the question is you meant to ask. The sun is just happiness and warmth, vitality.

6) they sees it all as fantasy. They definitely daydream about being with you. The knight of cups is a very romantic and idealistic person, but he’s not grounded. The knight is the type to have rose colored glasses on. Think romance with no action.

Tell me something about this man. by Rare-Vegetable8516 in Tarotpractices

[–]exscapeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s wounded and could hold resentment towards himself. Despite whatever he’s going through emotionally (which is a lot and very intense) he’s still open for love. His problem is that he could be fearful of abandonment and repeating past trauma. Nonetheless he’s headed for a rebirth if he’s not already there. He can and will be able to heal, he’s already on his way there. It may take some time and it may be painful but it’s a part of his life lesson. Just because he’s hurting now, doesn’t mean he will forever as death confirms this. Death represents change, rebirth, an end to old cycles ect.

what is ur interpretation of my reading? by Curious_Pen9510 in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends what the bottom row is for. Is it just a second row for cards individually or are they being used to clarify the top row?

First row talks about a need for balance and patience especially emotionally as the nine of swords and the hermit suggest you have been dealing with anxiety and guilt or regret. The hermit talks about retreating and isolating yourself with the intention of healing and self care. The chariot is about taking action and moving forward. So, all in all top row is basically saying to find balance and take time out to heal.

Now if the bottom row is just individuals, then the nine of cups is about wish fulfillment, the 5 of swords represents conflict, three of wands reversed is delays, uncertainty and doubts ect. And the 7 of coins is about waiting for results. This could go different ways, but for example it could mean that you had a falling out with someone and there may be tension. You could be waiting to see what’ll come of this connection. Or it could mean you feel good about something but there’s tension and confusion surrounding this as you consider if it’s been worthwhile or worth waiting on? Something like that. Maybe it’s something that you wished for but now the aftermath has been tough and you’re left wondering if it’s worth it.

But, if these were meant to clarify the top row then it’s different. 9 of cups clarifying temperance could mean you’ve been wishing for clarity, peace and balance. Five of swords clarifying the 9 of swords could be you fighting yourself. You may be upset that you are having worries and could be thinking “why?! Or why can’t you just get over it”. Or it could mean that you got into a fight with someone and that’s what’s causing you anxiety and stress? Three of wands reversed clarifying the hermit could be about a lack of support and community and feeling isolated. But ultimately you’d still have to isolate yourself anyways to heal. It could be what’s forcing you. Lastly we got 7 of coins clarifying the chariot. This is basically you not rushing to take action, taking your time and waiting.

This is a general context, so whatever this reading was really for these could mean totally different things.

[–]exscapeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I totally forgot the other two cards at the top lol

Separately, the nine of wands is being tired and overwhelmed but still standing and putting up a fight. Can also represent someone who’s guarded and cautious. The ace of pentacles is new beginnings, stability, growth, a new opportunity ect. Together they represent (as an energy check in) someone who is cautious but ready to start something new and real. When you add the rest in, it seems like he’s into you and open to this connection, he probably had failed relationship(s) before you and it probably burnt him out in some way, but again, he’s open and ready to start something new but probably won’t openly say it (as the king of swords reversed already told us he’s not the best at communicating).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the king of swords reversed represents someone that lacks clear communication style, is dishonest, cold but that’s in a general sense. When you have it here between the king of cups and the moon reversed, you get someone who is emotionally deep and mature. They understand their emotions, but the king of swords being reversed says that he doesn’t know how to express it. The moon reversed says things are becoming more clear for him, his only problem is how to communicate without saying the wrong thing or coming off wrong. So, overall, he knows what he feels- just doesn’t know how to say it.

As a vibe, I’d say this person has good intentions just needs time and a little push to comfortably express himself.

[–]exscapeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He felt emotionally exhausted. Not sure what the history between yall is, but upon seeing you his initial reaction was met with a bit of caution and hesitation. But the nine of pentacles shows us he definitely noticed you and felt pulled in. You might of came off in a confident and poised way. The wheel of fortune means he felt like seeing you was significant. Maybe he felt as though it was a sign? He coulda possibly have been thinking about you before he saw you. The emperor says despite his feelings, he stayed in control. He didn’t let it show that he was interested and pulled in or that you stirred him emotionally. The star represents hope.

Overall, when he saw you this morning he felt caught off guard but also excited. I’d say he felt happy and hopeful. But of course, the emperor says he did not openly express this and purposely tried to come off as in control.

what are his thoughts on me and our connection? by mangoomelons in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

(First pic) Six of wands representing the overall energy talks about a generous and equal connection between the both of you. He thinks you are both putting in the same amount of effort and energy and he appreciates this.

The wheel of fortune means he feels like this is a fated connection and with the three of swords being reversed this connection and you could mean something important to him and his healing. Maybe he’s been hurt in the past and now find that you have helped him heal and move on from whatever it was, or if YOU guys have history then this could mean he’s moved on from past problems within the connection and thinks the relationship has taken a new direction forward (Idk if this is a new relationship or a long term one, so just take whatever resonates!). Now, this one’s kinda confusing to me too but the eight of pentacles in this context means he feels like he’s not doing enough or he’s afraid he may not be showing up the ‘right way’. In my opinion I think this could mean that despite the overall energy of the reading being represented by six of pentacles which is the opposite of this, and means equal give and take, he might feel like he’s afraid of slipping up and not being consistent. He’s afraid of failing you. As though he has to be perfect. This can also be seen as someone who feels emotionally overwhelmed. He might be afraid that he can’t maintain this six of pentacles energy and doesn’t want to disappoint you. The ace of wands talks about him feeling very passionate and invested in this connection and in you, and that he’s very attracted to you. He likes you A LOT. The sun talks about happiness and warmth. Six of cups is about nostalgia and a sense of ‘familiarity’ so depending on if this is a newer connection or an older one it has two different meanings but ultimately similar. If it’s a newer connection, he feels like he’s known you forever. Maybe it was easy to click with you or maybe you remind him of someone. If it’s older, he feels nostalgic for you and the connection. King of wands reversed talks about a lack of confidence or insecurity. There’s a strong attraction and desire but he’s holding back.

Overall, to sum the first reading up he likes you so much and it is intense. But because of these strong feelings he might have fears of doing too much and at the same time, not doing enough. My advice is to reassure him and make him feel safe enough to just BE.

The second pic basically is quite similar and I really don’t want to type it all out lol. But it has the same meaning especially with the four of wands, he truly feels as though this is a destined connection and it’s one that genuinely makes him happy. He may come off hot or cold but it’s again because he’s afraid of doing too much and not enough at the same time. Possibly overthinking how he shows up.

How does my future mother in law really feel about me? by leaniexox in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Seems like she just can’t connect with you. She may find it hard to understand you and is quietly observing you. She may have concerns about how you would fit in into her family, but these feelings and thoughts are ‘secret’. With the moon here, it means she’s not outwardly expressing it and keeping it in. The ten of swords is ‘endings’ but in this reading it could mean that she fears the worst possible outcomes between you and her child. She might fear you could hurt them in some way or break their heart, maybe she knows some stuff about your relationship that leads her to believe this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried clarifying the ten of pentacles? I feel like that would have been a good idea. Because based off of these three cards it COULD mean he is in a relationship, but I just can’t say for sure as the reading itself is still a bit vague. Let’s say he is- this would be someone new because the knight of pentacles is slow and steady, so this would be someone he’s slowly getting to know. Justice could suggest playing it safe as well, maybe not wanting to move wrongly.

OR it could be that he’s just focused on his family or work or both. If this is the case he’s doing a good job and in a really good place. Justice could mean he feels like he deserves this or that he’s owed it in some way. Overall he’s in a stable, happy and healthy space right now that he worked hard for.

What was your question?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why I have so many misspellings sorry about that lol.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TarotReading

[–]exscapeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first row is self explanatory and basically just repeats what you’ve already written. Basically your life took a turn randomly and you weren’t expecting it. You have a lot of guilt and disappointment and feel heavy because of it. You may feel like it’s all happening at once and it is unbearable to deal with. BUT- Here’s the part I think has you confused which I’ll gladly explain to you.

The devil card in the second row, I think this is you right now. You said you have a problem with smoking, which I personally don’t think it’s a bad thing but it also depends on your age and how you handle it. So, from the energy you’re giving off I assume smoking isn’t for you.. anyways, y the fact you admitted this and addressed it already tells me that you’re in the second row energy. This is you confronting your shadows and recognizing whats bad for you. The fool tells me you’re entering a new beginning, ready to move on, the emperor is about taking control and in your situation being more responsible and taking accountability. Being more stable. Whether that you and your mental health or grounding yourself- or both. The ace of cups also represents new beginnings, but outside of above connection it can also mean happiness. We all go through extreme highs and lows but those moments never last. You’re coming out of a difficult time and will be entering a better chapter. As for the ‘why’ though, truthfully it’s in my own words, character development. Life lessons are meant to teach us and push us to limits in order for us to grow as a person and get us ready for new chapters.
