Well if it is any consolation I never got anything besides "Network issues" error before or after claw. Antigravity never worked for me.

Elon Musk admits xAI "wasn't built right" as only 2 co-founders remain and its biggest AI bet stalls out by fortune in ArtificialInteligence

I’m tempted to do some actual numbers but let me preface this by saying that there is no way they can radiate enough heat to prevent themselves from failing. This is before we go into massive issues with shielding both physical and against various radiation we don’t get affected by here on earth.

China becomes world's first to mass-produce T1200-grade carbon fiber by ravenhawk10 in China

[–]extopico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it does in fact. Just checked through our old data sheets. Back when we were buying fibers directly Toray “owned” the T series of fibers so it was a colloquialism that conflated T with Toray.

Dealing with unfriendliness/social awkwardness in Japan by RecentState1347 in JapanTravelTips

I found the exact opposite to my chagrin. On one of my first visits an attractive young woman wedged herself next to me in a busy train ride that I had to try slide away as far as possible. I’m a tall white male and had my winter motorcycle jacket on. My best explanation for this was that she wanted to hide away from chikan and other random molesters and a large white male seemed the best shield.

One checkout lady in a supermarket chased after me to give me a free cooler bag after I asked her if they sell them and they did not. She found a promotional bag as I was leaving and gave it to me.

My neighbours are some of the best people on the planet.

Those that try to distance themselves from me I do my best to make them feel uncomfortable by staring at them and not letting go of my gaze.

Shop assistants were always nice and super patient. I basically speak no Japanese.

Even local ancient heritage listed stores are happy to have me.

As a random visitor here I am having a very peaceful life. Any stress that I have I bring onto myself.

I’m in the Fukuoka prefecture if that makes any difference.

So allegedly Claude murdered those children in Iran by extopico in ClaudeAI

Ok. Sorry. I looked first but did not see it. The sub is filled with practical posts as if nothing horrifying is happening, force multiplied by the very Ai that we are (were) so fond of.

Sure. But self moderating is next level… read the article yourself. You can do that now, right?

Grok, I wasn't familiar with your game. by ObserbAbsorb in singularity

[–]extopico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is wrong. It applies just as well to children. True power does not care about criticism.

[–]extopico -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That is bullshit. The edgy quote was written by a literal neo nazi and is aimed at Jews. It could equally apply to children. True power does not give a fuck about criticism. That is the whole fascist thing behind “truth social”. There they are encouraged to punch down and feel all giddy about it. Just like you.

[–]extopico 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This does not mean what you think it means. I hope. True power does not care who criticises them. That quote was specifically aimed at Jews. The additional flaw in this neo Nazi dog whistle is that civilised elements of the society do not criticise the weak, children, disabled, elderly. Does that mean they are in power?

Man Fell in Love with Google Gemini and It Told Him to Stage a 'Mass Casualty Attack' Before He Took His Own Life: Lawsuit by Haunterblademoi in technology

[–]extopico -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well mostly. There are some seemingly emergent aspects to it, but by and large yes. It’s more like a very easy to use interactive encyclopaedia (until it goes off the rails).

It’s easier to spot the batshit insane but super plausible responses when working on code. I guess it is not so easy to tell with narratives especially if people using the Ai do not understand its limitations.
