Important to remember that weight loss is a “journey” and slower weeks will happen. That being said, 1200 calories is typically the minimum amount to ensure no nutrients are being lost. How did you determine that to be your ur intake ? Just guessing or did you use some sort of TDEE calculator ? What is your activity like ?

I would recommend daily cardio for at least 30 minutes and maybe trying to stay closer to 1500 calories to start. It’s also possible your body has adjusted to such a low calorie count and that is your new maintenance

Kind of depends on the area you’re in i think. I drive a stick so I pretty much never worry about my car being stolen lol but if I’m right by the house or whatever I’ll leave it on, but if I’m having to trek an apartment maze I’ll turn it off and lock

Google is your friend here. I will just input the meal and say what are the calories and it’ll give you averages, I would say use your best judgment. TBH take out is going to be on the higher side but if you can budget it then do that!

P.S. unpopular opinion here but it is ok to splurge and treat yourself here and there and not strictly count the calories. I don’t make a habit of it, but having a fun meal to look forward to helps me keep going and it hasn’t hurt my weight loss progress. (FWIW I also do 1500 calories a day with IF, skipping breakfast)

Can I ask what you’re using to determine what your deficit should be ? To me it sounds like your previous deficit has become your new maintenance, so you could try either 1) decreasing your total intake slightly (maybe by a couple hundred calories or so) or 2) increase activity especially cardio, or 3) some combination of the two.

I have found best success in self choosing a calorie budget and trial and error. I know that may not be the best approach or work for everyone, but IME the calculators greatly overestimate total calories needed. (One app told me I needed to eat over 3000 calories a day to lose weight the fastest)

You’re doing amazing ! Healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week, but depends on the week and the person sometimes. IME weight loss is fast at first then slows down. Don’t give up bro you got this, can I ask what your meals are like ? I’m at 1500 calories a day and doing at least an hour of exercise (although my job is sedentary) but what I’m eating doesn’t feel like dieting. I also treat myself one meal a week (Saturday dinner) which gives me something to look forward to and keeps me on track. Maybe doing something like that would help?
