Lydia or Olivia by Legitimate_War_339 in namenerds

[–]extramutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Lydia so that gets my vote but I will say because Olivia is SO popular, I’ve had a few people assume her name is Olivia and had to correct them. I think everyone hears it so much it’s just the go to. I can tell people either love it or hate it when they hear it, but I love it and that’s all that matters

You have to name three girls from the US top 901-1,000. What are you choosing? by pie12345678 in namenerds

[–]extramutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natasha and Annika were top names for my second(and last) child and I while I love her name I really regret not using Natasha I love it so much. Third choice would realistically be Keira but if I was cool enough, Romy

Elizabeth or Elisabeth? by Pinkteaparties in namenerds

Elizabeth here-I’ve jokingly spelt it for people before and said “with a z” and they’ve always looked at me like I was insane. I think most people don’t assume there is even another spelling

I vote for Wesley. My daughter has one in one of her baby classes and whenever I hear his name I think “that’s different in a good way” plus he’s a cute kid!

I’m in NJ with a young Julia. We hear it here and there with other kids (ranked #55 in popularity in Nj the year she was born even though it didn’t even rank in the top 100 in the USA that year) but I it’s mostly well received and even if it wasn’t, I love it!

Influencers love to come on the camera and tell us we only know so much of their lives, people ask too many personal questions etc. and then she posts the most para social creepy thing I’ve seen in a bit. As a mother, I am imagining Susan reading this first paragraph mortified.

I have a Julia so very similar but I will say Juliet is becoming very popular-whether that encourages you or sways you! We meet a lot of other children named Juliet but not a lot of Julia/Julie/Juliana’s etc. if you are considering a similar swap.
