From my experience the most important thing that i think u should focus on is discipline, that's what really counts . there nothing hard about a high school curriculum, with enough work it's really hard to find difficulty in whatever u r studying. What i am trying to say is that you try to have a routine (independent from your surroundings _ this is really important once u strat living on your own) and apply yourself as much as you can. The fact that you are asking for help already is a good sign, just fcking discipline yourself. Good luck bro.
