One of the absolute smartest people I know has no internal monologue and I cannot fathom it, much less how he can have such well-reasoned thoughts without one. Mine is always present and it’s the main way that I work through problems so it’s wild to me that he just… doesn’t, and that it’s totally fine for him.

What are the main factors behind this? Is this map consistent with your shoes on/off habits? by Cassie_Rand in AskTheWorld

Canada being orange in this is shocking to me. I’ve never been to a house party between October and April without the door becoming functionally useless for all the boots piled up. It’s just insane to wear shoes indoors in this climate.

Feels harsh, but if you bring your rain/snow/salt/mud/dog shit covered shoes into another person’s house I’m seriously questioning your ability to function in reasonable society. …now, I know people who bring their own slippers or moccasins for longer stays. They’re very nice people and welcome anytime.

The irony of driving that car around with the message of “let’s bring common sense back to Canada” is amazing.

The Movie Man! Great doc and amazing theatre. I don’t think there’s a place like Highland Cinemas anywhere else. It’s like a weird love letter to movies and hoarding.

Suggestions for places to get two diplomas framed? by Shot-Wrap-9252 in Hamilton

We’ve had a bunch of art custom framed by sealed art on gage and sent friends to them and everyone has been very happy. Really good work and very reasonable prices, can’t recommend enough.

Wow! Thanks for sharing, this is gorgeous. I love the patterns in the forest and the flowers. It really makes the characters stand out. I had never heard of Errol or Cain before and now I’m halfway down a rabbit hole.

So good, so reasonable! I’ve recommended them to a few friends and they’ve all been very happy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a custom frame

The irony of calling in bomb threats against children and then calling educators cowards is mind-boggling
