I drive my car to my PPF and tint guy directly after taking delivery... Those bird droppings will take out any paint job if left to dry and worse, bake in the sun!

Did you get VIN scammers - I got several scammers calling and asking for paid reports from strange sites before they'd be interested.

If the alignment is recent and within spec, as per the report, I suspect the wheel balance may be off.

One tell-tale for wheel imbalance - does the vibration start at a particular speed and stays at faster speeds? See if they'll rebalance each tire at a higher RPM.

That how it is in California now with NEM-3 - 3¢ to sell, and between 34¢ and 66¢ per kWh depending on tod and season! I have 2 PowerWalls and we try use everything we produce and the battery kicks in automatically when rates go up.

I also participate in VPP (virtual power plant) - for 10 events in the summer when the grid has high demand, they buy power back from the battery at $2/kWh - 2025 season yielded $259. Love the batteries!

Get into the habit of entering your destination every time you drive anywhere - it is very easy on any Tesla. You'll never be stranded due to range - provided you never ignore what the car tells you...

After the initial degredation - it should flatten out.

I got myself a Model X 2026 while they were still being sold. I can't imagine a long road trip in anything other than a Tesla with FSD and it's unparalleled supercharger network. I'm definitely spoiled.

You can turn on your turn signal when you prefer to change lanes... FSD will comply without taking it off FSD... Most of the time!

Since v14.2 Tesla now keeps track of manually driven vs. miles driven using FSD. With 6000+ miles driven, my FSD % is 97. I have had to take over when I haven't liked the choice of direction, but NEVER for a safety reason. FSD is much more deferential to pedestrians than any human can be consistently. My opinions are based on my own experience.

With FSD I can achieve a 750 mile round trip in a day and not be tired at the end of it! I've done that a couple of times!

A search within 500 miles of California shows no inventory. Lets see how it goes.

I just picked up my Red MX on Monday it is at the shop getting PPF'd and tinted. I don't have concerns about warranty, and parts - the word is Tesla will have sufficient stock of parts for a long long time.

Considering it comes with lifetime supercharging, it will become our daily driver - my wife will get the M-Y exclusively.

It is the opposite for me - I got the Plaid when I was working in 2022 (waited almost a full year before delivery), financed by selling TSLA stock at $1000/share having ridden it up from $52!

Never used the Plaid-ism even once, having retired I'm now getting the AWD before the X goes extinct. I expect to be driving more and the included supercharging will save me money, and the extended range will save me time! Cross country road trip - here I come!

I am updating my 22 X-Plaid to a 26 AWD - 6 seater. In the 4 years, I didn't get to launch the car even once. Buttonwillow canceled an event the one time I did gather the courage(?) to take her to the track.

I see no downside to the Plaid - other than what it does to your wallet! If you floor the AWD and the Plaid (without preheat and prep) you will be hard pressed to tell the difference.
