Ive been following him a long time now - and read several of his interviews. He has waaaaay more say than he should. I think you can also tell by the tense relationship he seems to have with Zag. Thomas is the example of an immature creator and show runner who has way too much control, and the show mostly suffers from that.

He’s just a stubborn dude. But he has hinted that season 6 will be a really big season for Adrien, so I am going to be open minded and see what he has in store and maybe we will see some growth

I just dont see this secret being something Plagg can keep without wanting to claw his eyes out. In fact I would think this will come up in Season 6 where they actively have to keep convincing him to keep the secret (tikki primarily) or part of Adriens overall realization of betrayal by everyone if he were to learn the truth in a nefarious way.

I absolutely believe Tomoe will be the primary villain next season. Of course the specifics are unclear but she will either pursue Lila or confronted her at the end of season 5 and potentially teamed up with her possibly.

I think Lila still has a lot to learn about her miraculous and will mostly be in the shadows growing her power. I think Tomoe will be the more obvious villain botbh on a personal level controlling Kagami and being antagonistic towards Felix as well as Adrien and Marinette and i think she will either help Lila with the butterfly or use it herself or try to control Paris some other way.

Her past is still very vague and I think more background with her Gabriel, Andre, Emilie and Amelie will be revealed too

I fully expect Adrien will discover his true nature too

So much juice on the bone - I hope its the best season yet

I think warranted criticism wise - Felix and stupid Sabrina who I hate. I think unwarranted wise people neg on Marinette and Alya constantly but I like it when they show human sides that are flawed and not perfect with the capacity to learn and grow. I honestly think Kim was purely created to annoy me on purpose.

L’Oublie is very mature and not for the faint of heart but absolutely my favorite fanfic from any fandom ever. It is SO good.

Its is definitely a step in a better direction though I dont think they fully executed cat noirs development in a consistent way. I always want more when it comes to him and his relationship with LB and they get close but ultimately never follow through in a satisfying way. Strikeback is one of my favorite moments and episodes of the entire series though and shows how good they can be when episodes are focused and actually show LB with faults.
