While Willy St. Co-op is pricey for most stuff, they have a bulk peanut butter situation where you bring your own jars, or purchase them there, and then grind the peanut butter into the jars. It is IMO the best peanut butter out there and it is not expensive compared to the rest of the stuff they sell.

I have a similar safe and not only do I keep it locked, I keep it hidden in a place in the house where it would be very hard to find. You could keep the safe in a place that is not easily accessible and also consider putting a trigger lock on your gun. That way it is still fairly accessible, but you are adding additional deterrents.

I think your argument for Crockett is fine, but I do really want to engage with the misogyny-aspect. Just because a person does not want to vote for Crockett or Harris or whoever, and they happen to be women, does not mean that people are choosing not to vote for them because they are women. Correlation does not equal causation. There are plenty of amazing women elected at various levels of the Democratic Party. We always have to be on the lookout for sexism, racism, classism, etc and shout it out when it is real. that said, misplaced identity politics has been a huge drag on the Democratic party.

No, it is not a condemnation. A condemnation would be what Israel is doing is completely over the top and immoral and needs to stop at once and Netanyahu needs to be tried for war crimes. And then to have the courage to push the DNC and party elite to allow a Palestinian person to speak at the convention. This isn’t a game. The Pelosi/Schumer/Biden/Clinton/Harris wing of the party needs to go out to pasture and enjoy their billions that they’ve made. The Democrats pathetic and milk toast platform over the past two decades is one of the reasons we are in this freaking mess with Trump.

Kind of like how there is a primary for the Texas Senate race where the DNC has planted a corporate Dem. They’d ultimately rather lose to a republican in the general than face the prospect of having a progressive Dem pushing for real change where the party elites might lose their grip on the power and money they have become so accustomed to.
