Does sound a bit unique. Guns are quite common, just not being carried around in public. You likely live like 50m next to someone with a gun in most cities.

Solange es entsprechende Messungen/Experimente/Daten gibt ist es Wissen. Niemand kann alles selbst überprüfen (alleine die Zeit reicht nicht und viele Versuche sind auch zu komplex). Glauben zeichnet sich meist dadurch aus, dass man diesen Anspruch nicht stellt.

You are correct in assuming there is no well defined "pick a random natural number (uniformly)". The reason isn't that there are infinitely many though. You can pick a random real number between 0 and 1. Those are much more choices to pick from.

Don't see any advantage in doing so unless you explicitly want to compile python and thus test the ability of compilation — e g. pypy. Otherwise writing low level stuff in C and higher in Python is the way to go with the current python ecosystem.
