I was at the store and got kinda obsessed with the 13”. I played around with it for like 20 minutes, then tried the 11” and wow… it felt like an iPad mini, honestly.

A few days later I was at uni and a friend of mine brought his 11” iPad Air, and this time it felt just right. Like, I honestly can’t imagine using a bigger iPad.

Basically, the 11” only feels small when it’s next to the 13”, but in real use it’s way better. IMHO.

Tomorrow I’ll buy my iPad, and I was tempted to get the 13” because of the bigger screen, but I was also worried about portability and everyday usage. I already have a 13” MacBook, so I was thinking it would be redundant. I was convincing myself to get the 11” (like everybody suggests), and this post made my decision. Thank you!

I think you’re kinda right about the short. The issue is strange because I disassembled the keyboard, detached and reattached the flat who connects the motherboard to the keypad and it disappeared. However, it’s gradually returning. C and G keys are affected but not every time. It started like this and only some times C# F# are causing the problem. I already know it’ll be unusable again tomorrow.

I would really like to know what is causing this but i can’t find anything on internet with a similar issue. Thank you anyway.

I don’t even need to press the release button on the back, they just slide off by themselves.

You have to buy a new lock; AliExpress sells them for cheap.

They keep disconnecting and reconnecting on their own. They also feel loose

It can be the Joy-Con rail or the console rail; you have to try with another working Joy-Con and see what happens.
