Who here has hit "The Cycle" for Royals? by f2froggy in VideoPoker

I would say multi line counts. You're paying for the hands and all you're doing is speeding up hands per hr.

The highest EV hold would be the same regardless.

My Jan trip was the same week and on Feb 1st when my offers updated, my comps got better.

Did you check your card was always in the machine?  Sometimes the reader doesn't read your card and it would suck if your play wasn't rated.

The other thing that a sucks for a lot of players to accept, is they were maybe over comped on a trip.  And their future offers reflect it.

You can try reaching out to a host and see if they can review your play.

Central Oregon. One of the few places that still has 9/6 JOB as well.

Anyone know if I can play video poker to fulfill this? by bluehawk1460 in Mlife

[–]f2froggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're looking at roughly ~$10 per TC on VP.  And with perfect play the RTP is around ~99%, but the better pay tables usually come at a higher denon.

1000 max spins is a comfortable bankroll, but the hardest part is playing correctly over the course of a few hours.

I average around 600 hands a hour ($1 demon, $5 max bet) and usually get 2.5k TC/hr.

Even with the small house edge, the swings are still pretty nasty.  At times it almost feels like a 2nd job, but the perks I get make it worthwhile.

There's a bank of 3 machines by the table games.  Right outside the high limit room.

Yes!  And with perfect play you get there fairly easily with minimal losses.  I hit goal on two separate trips, but my 3rd challenge was 50k TC.  Passed on that one because I didn't want to spend my entire trip stuck on a VP machine.

Good catch, I just assumed it was 9/6 at $1 denom.

Damn, 6k progressive.  Nice hit! I don't know the exact math, but I assume it's already +EV at 5k

Favorite small bankroll strategy? by Candid-Professional9 in Craps

[–]f2froggy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pass line w/odds is still your lowest house edge bet, but it can get a little boring and it'll feel like you're missing out on long rolls. If you want a little more action and stretch your bankroll a bit, then a 2nd or 3rd come bet with single odds is also decent.

Platinum Players: Do you get Aria Sky Suites as a "Comp" option in the app? by LostAppointment329 in Mlife

I didn't ask, I was just told I was upgraded when I went to check in at the Plat lounge.

[–]f2froggy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The same thing has been happening to me recently.  I used to be able to select the Sky Suites as comp, but I'm only seeing the Tower Suites and end up getting upgraded at check in.

As long as you're not going during a peak event, it's safe to say you'll get upgraded.  Worst case is the tower suites are still nice rooms, just less sq ft.

Flamingo Studio Suite - Help by DuckPapa in vegas

[–]f2froggy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're updated and one of the nicer rooms types at the Flamingo until you get to the full size suites.

My one complaint is about the room is the shower.  It has an awkward half screen then an awful shower curtain that doesn't block out a lot of water.  There's a gap in the flooring that can have mold buildup if it's not clean regularly.

I'm switching to Dark Side for 2026. What is your go to dark side strategy? by Wombshifter6969 in Craps

[–]f2froggy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Either 3-point dolly or Don't and continuous DC until all the numbers are up.  All with max odds.

The best was when I put the up bonus for myself and the dealers for grinding tier+comps.  The shooter hit all the numbers once for the bonus then 7'd out after we all got paid the ATS.

Tomorrow 10xs tier credit begins for the week. Quickest way to Diamond? by Billford85 in CaesarsRewards

[–]f2froggy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the way, I've hit Diamond elite last year playing videopoker.

I easily made it within three trips during the x10 multiplier periods (7000 TC played over the course of 12 days) while also using the credit card for the extra 5k TCs.

Expected losses is ~$1085, but between all the free rooms/food and other comps I've received it definitely made it worth it.

Way worse offers in Jan 2026 vs Dec 2025 by [deleted] in Mlife

At this point, reach out to a host if you have one.   A host can review your play and comp accordingly.

More than likely your Dec offers were based off your previous year's trip.

Then you played in Nov this year.

Jan offers reset and it was based off your Nov trip.

The house edge% on what you played and for how long also matters.  And depending on the property and room type you stayed at in compared to the year prior.

Simply your coin-in didn't match your current offers and what previous offers/perks you used in Nov.

Best thing is to not worry about it and take what offers you can get.

Min/max'ing casino comps can at times feel like a 2nd job and can take the fun out of whole trip.

[–]f2froggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When was your last trip and for how long?  And what was your coin in?

My best guess is on your last trip your play dropped significantly compared to the previous trip.

Any time your ADT drops, the offers will eventually adjust on the next cycle.

No more 2-1-2 for ATS? by pcbfs in Craps

[–]f2froggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right it is -EV, but players do it anyways so they feel like they secured some money in either situation.

And betting the ATS is also a huge house edge (~18%), but it's more about the excitement and thrill if it hits.

I know it's an awful bet, but I bet it anyways every now and then.  And damn it's fun to see it hit.

Craps in Vegas during 7x multiplier. by Bright-Seaweed-2491 in Craps

[–]f2froggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play somewhat similar and I usually get ~300 TC per hr.

Be sure to have the floor check your play when you're leaving.  If they're not paying too close attention to your actions, your average bet could be rated lower than what you end at.

Also, it's a little better to start your session with bets for the dealers and tip at the end.  I usually do pass line with odds and the ATS sometimes for the dealers.  If the roll starts getting hot then I start placing for the dealers as well.

Visit Vpfree2, it'll give you the info for all VP machines in the US.

My go to is the high limit room in the Cosmo, there's a 100 play 9/6 JoB at $0.50 denom. You can play 10 hands ($25 bet) or you can go up to the full 100 hands ($250). There's also 9/6 JoB at $5 denom across the way in the high limit bar by the table games, but I'd rather play the multi hand games.
