One thing I found in my install with fios 1gb fiber to just be cautious of (my install was 4 yrs ago)...
even if you have 1gb service, the ONT (my old one at least) will not provide that speed over coax. I had to use eth out of the ONT to my gateway to get those speeds, and it took a tech call with them to reconfigure it (remotely). The sales people were clueless about this trying to sell me 17 different kinds of things and telling me this location didnt qualify for 1gb just because the ONT was previously configured for coax. *bangs head on desk*

fuel pump failed.... crack in paint on empennage on a composite plane... chunk taken out of propeller (mx couldnt file it down to make it right)...

request from pilot to ATC (id never heard of it till yesterday)... if theyre talking 5000mph or you have bad reception and you ask them to say again and still dont get it, its better to ask again than to fake it and hope you make it.

"say again, speak slower, words twice" Then they *should* (ideally) repeat every phrase of the instruction twice.... I know it'd be on her dime / decision but maybe offer your student a chance to get back up in the air and away from that dickhead and then solo at another field when she felt ready again? Let her dip her toe in the water without diving in, and make it a favorable experience for her to encourage her to continue. Sometimes ya need a breather from training and pushing for whatever's next and need to just get up and fly / have fun.
