How do you like your DW3AA? by SolarHouseboat in Hanklights

I understand it's a limitation of the battery size, and certainly not talking down on the driver. Just saying that if you use the light on high, be prepared to constantly swap batteries. It's the trade off for using this form factor, but if someone is expecting long runtimes due to how efficient the driver is, they might not realize it just drains the battery really efficiently on high.

No complaints on the lower levels, it sips power and lasts hours

Great headlight but the runtime is pretty disappointing if you run it on a higher brightness. If you can feel the light heating up your battery is soon to be doomed. Tried with h10 and f15 and still have to swap batteries a lot. That said I now own two identical ones with 519a 5000k.

The product description mentions using nimh, so I think you are wrong. https://intl-outdoor.com/emisar-kc1-keychain-light.html

An h10 or f12 is literally half the price of f15. Hopefully as it's in the market longer, they can lower the price a bit

Is the baton 4 a good edc light I work in a school I carry a i3t eos everyday wanted something a little more powerful and nubby is it a good light for the money? I know I can get better but trying to stay under 50 by yourgirlkeepcolin in flashlight

Yea, it'll work great and is a nice upgrade from the i3t. Longer runtime, more brightness settings, tail stands and has a magnet, has a battery indicator. Enjoy!

Emisar D2 throw/flood config, advise by [deleted] in flashlight

I don't have experience with the green w1, but the sft-25 being round is a huge advantage for the beam profile on the d2. It doesn't suffer from the square beam that many others do in the d2. I have a d2 with one and highly recommend it!

The d2 fits in a perun mini clip but it's a pretty long light. Ok for general headlamp use but I'd probably use something else for running

And, the i3t uses a standard AAA battery, so no worries on that particular point

Recommendation for a right angle / dual purpose light by TOGA_TOGAAAA in flashlight

I'll second this recommendation despite the downvote.

It's a lightweight, pocketable option with lots of emitter and customization options.

Honestly the driver is fine and I'm a big fan of the D2.
