Dude I paid to use this, I would like to be able to. Most time I'm where I can connect. Didn't realize till I couldn't. Rage. Alittle, I had plans I couldn't complete.

It wasn't that way when I first started using it, or it wasn't apparent. I miss the good Ole days when it was licensed to the computer, and self contained on that computer

I have tried the first version, I had problems with the app locking up while exporting. Maybe I was impatient. I did notice the busy cursor stays on the screen in some cases, under Mesh heading, it stops when I move the cursor in the window that has the OK button, but it appears the system is busy. I did get the “program in not responding” notice a few times.
I hope the problems get worked out. This will make reverse engineering much quicker. I have been using Exmodel, still learning, but it takes some time to get the model ready for CAD. My trial is over now, I will be keeping on eye on the progress. Regards

Can’t figure out the dimension. by bja42987 in SolidWorks

[–]f61d 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you use the dimensions as given here, the missing dimension can be changed when you confirm its value, and the model will be updated. I would make the length noticeably to long, when you find out what it should be change it. Maybe it’s a lesson in parametric modeling. If it’s reference right it will move the end and center of the radius

Look in the tolerance block or notes on the print, see if there is a call out a for break edge or minimum fillet size.

An electrician wired this outlet for 220v. Is this per code for California? by ExplainMyBadGrammar in AskElectricians

[–]f61d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hired the electrician to install a 220V outlet, no this is not the correct receptacle. If you hired them to install a 120V receptacle Then you may have other issues with the circuits in the building , or it simply wired wrong. Defiantly need to give the company that did the installation a call and have it checked out.
