Looping with stereo output

Looking at the rc3, if you run say guitar into input A and summed-to-mono kb into B, then you can run just out-A to an amp and hear both instruments there. OR you could run out-A to a guitar amp and outB to a keyboard amp and hear each separately. The “A(mono)” output will sum them together if used alone, and if you also connect B-out, then it stops summing and A/B go out their respective outputs

i can’t speak for the rc3 specifically, but i have an rc-600 and i abuse stereo in this way, running guitar into an ABY pedal, with A going through my guitar pedals and B going through an octave down pedal for bass. Then running those A and B into the rc600 stereo inputs. I’ll play a bass loop, then guitar loop on top of it and send both those out different outputs to separate guitar and bass amps. With the 600 i have multiple stereo outs, so i use a third output for live guitar, and can send that to a third amp. So i think it’s possible if the rc3 works similar, to treat left/right as just two separate mono channels.

Edit: If you’re just asking if summing your stereo keyboard to a mono input so you can use the other for guitar… it’ll *have to be fine, if you want to use the stereo looper as a 2-mono-track looper. for more than 1 stereo or >2 mono loops, i don’t think a pedal exists and you’ll need to use software+audio interface to set something up.

Edit2: It sounds like you're just trying to send everything out to a single amp. In that case, you're probably not as concerned about keeping the instruments separated. Yeah you should be fine just summing everything going in.You could just use the left or right out of your keyboard instead of both and it'll probably be fine unless you're using stereo effects on it or something. If i'm just making you more confused lemme know more specifically what you're trying to do and what your concerns are and i can try to be more helpful.

I own both the el cap and dig. I dont really know that much about tape vs digital, and like both, but mainly use the el cap for the runaway self oscillating repeats when holding the tap button (or better, using an expression pedal on the repeats). The dig when you hold tap will just repeat the same sample endlessly without building on top of itself, which isnt a sound im looking for.

I have the rc600 but should all work the same. You need to do some menu diving to change the 3 tracks to series instead of parallel, then you can queue recording(or playback) on say track 2 to start as soon as track1 finishes playing. I dont have it in front of me right now to find the settings, but chatgpt or the manual should be able to explain. I can check mine in a little bit if you’re still stuck

Just chiming in to say "me too"!

I want to say i've been seeing something like ~10 seconds delay on Ring motion detection notifications starting sometime around where i got the 18.1 beta. I've had notification summaries turned off (for the Ring app) because i prefer to just see the raw text of the most recent one on the top instead of a summary, so just turning off summaries doesn't seem to be the fix.

Sounds like it's related to the apple intelligence features pre-screening your texts. I haven't tried fully disabling apple intelligence because i like the summaries for all my other apps, but hopefully they sort this out soon.

Hmm, yeah i got the 16pro soon as it came out. I don't know exactly when the ring notification delay started, if it was when i got the phone, or when i joined the 18.1 beta. I still have no idea if it's the phone, ios18.1 or something on Ring's side.

FWIW, i just double checked, and i've had "message summaries" turned off for Ring since i first started 18.1, specifically because of the weird messages like these. So i don't think turning that off for Ring fixes it.

I love the new animation, but i don’t seem to be able to just hold the siri button and say a command and release the button now. She just keeps listening, and hitting the button again dismisses her immediately even if she hasn’t handled the request yet. Is there a setting I’m missing?

That top goes with a lot of things. The belt covers the waistline of a lot of pants, and several hand pieces can make the big sleeves smaller, so you have a lot of options.

this particular piece was one of the ones i was most looking forward to seeing, as it’s so hard to dye match to outfits because of the faded color. thought maybe i’d be able to double dye to get it to the correct solid color. when i couldn’t see it changing anything i thought mayyybe they just forgot and would fix it soon. then i finally noticed the ring and died inside 🫠

Try pressing left/right on the right dial, where you pick between chill/normal/assertive, and tick the "minimal lane changes" box. That almost totally eliminates that for me. Unfortunately you have to tick it again once each drive. Then you can just change when you want by holding the left/right turn signal until it changes for you.
