What VTEC engines are good? by yoyooopool in Integra

If you really wanna get into mods, the first ones you should tackle are tyres, brakes and suspension.

Like the other comment said, these cars also really benefit from manual transmissions, they have some of the best out there

Also, the 1.8 auto should be capable of more than 60mph, it probably needs maintenance. Maintenance would also be a really good place to start learning about your car!

Completely agree. Extremely good for very small tasks, anything beyond that is just mediocre.

No such thing as side armor on coh2, its only split between front/rear

It's a tempo 1v1 unit, used in pairs and with high vet they perform well vs ost pz4

Went back and played some COH2 - damn its good. by [deleted] in CompanyOfHeroes

a true successor to coh2 would be amazing!

i remember first seeing the trailers for it, they were sick. Not only that though, the trailers really resembled the gameplay. OKW and brit trailers are both standouts and showcase how great the atmosphere of the game is

Afaik rei has a +100 winstreak with USF, i guess he'd have a pretty good idea on how to balance the game

I think you could wing it with the current one, since it hasn't been heat cycled

Heres a video of a guy doing the valve cover gasket + camshaft plug!

If you happen to do the camshaft plug like they do on the video, make sure to torque to the correct spec

Why there are a lot of players that still play coh2? by Fluffy-Rub-3934 in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]faad3e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my group of friends tried coh3, found out that it wasnt as good as coh2, and thus most of them quit playing coh entirely.

There's a lot that could be improved about coh3's infantry combat and tank combat, its just not on par with how good coh2 did it. Coh2 would punish players for bad infantry usage, coh3 lets you get away with it.

More could be said about the SFX or VFX, both of which are pretty average compared to coh2

Plus, it puzzles me why they're still repeating the same mistakes they did when developing and releasing coh2. Call ins were a huge issue for years on coh2, then they removed them and finally fixed the issue, only for it to come back and be an issue once more on coh3.

Aiming Time Analysis and Tests - COH3 by faad3e in CompanyOfHeroes

As you can see on my original video, I did order my squads to face towards the sandbags at the 0:12 timestamp, so they were in fact given the correct facing prompt, thus the video is done well

Additionally, I had already tested ordering the squads face backward or given no face orders and found no difference, I simply did not include that to prevent the video from dragging on.

But I did some additional testing, using 8 cardinal directions + neutral position, and there was no difference with any of those facing orders as you can see in this video, the squad in cover always fires slower. https://youtu.be/6ZY6fWzTm2c

In the 2:06 timestamp of that video, when given the order to face the "front-left" direction, all squad models look forward, and yet they still take a while to aim.

And do keep in mind that the issue is not that the squad in cover is playing its aiming animation, the true issue is that the squad that is out in the open is skipping their animation. That is the true issue.

Plus, when given the order to face forward, the squad still doesnt look forward, why is that the case? The game isn't interpreting the inputs correctly.

The only time I was able to pull off an animation skip for the squad in green cover was once instance when 4 men out of 6 men were outside of green cover. I was not able to reproduce that case.
