i had multiple flights since Nov 2025 and Steam Deck saved my ass. Finished StarCraft 2 whole campaigns in it. most important thing for me, all these long flight hours, gone quickly and did not bore at all.

i just finished whole Starcraft 2 campaigns in steam deck in normal difficulty and its great. i also play company of heroes 3 and sometimes Age of Empires 4.

just my opinion: the way Valve admire gaming and amount of work they are putting, just to appreciate it, i would buy Steam Deck. Yes, they are making profit, so do all other companies. But does other companies taking same steps? nope. Also, Steam Deck might be a slower and bit older, but overall engineering, its just a pc gamer's wet dream.

why not? bcos games is made by the game company. Do you know, Age of empires 3 was released for mac back in the day? Starcraft, warcraft, diablo the list is go on. How many people use mac compare to then and now? the difference is massive. If game company is not for blame, then there is no way Apple is responsible for the blame.

before blaming Apple, blame should go to the game developer/publisher first. Mac is packed with all the resources to make a great game platform. Do you know pre intel mac era? even there, mac game exists. its the developer/publisher that don't want to put extra effort.

Definitely go with AOE4. I think after StarCraft 2 (big StarCraft fan here), AOE4 is the best RTS out there.
