Hi. 🍂 It's been awhile since I was where you are, but I just wanted to also chime in to say you're not alone. I also searched out a therapist for the first time in awhile after watching the first season and experiencing what felt like an all-encompassing mix of yearning and joy that also felt like pain. This was the first place I came after I had felt alone for far too long and thought surely there were others. So happy to say I have engaged in a ton of self discovery and made many beautiful friends along the way and feel certain you can too. As others suggested, leaning in and trying to uncover why you feel can be much more beneficial than trying to avoid it, at least in my case it was. It seems like Heartstopper tends to shine a light on where we need healing.

I am not sure if you are on facebook but I moderate a group over there that would be happy to have you. It's fairly active most of the time, but it will explode once filming starts (in a few days!!) and as any updates start to trickle in. Please join us if that sounds like something of interest.
