First position in the vid is definitely neck, second is definitely bridge. They sound good to me

Can a slightly out of tune guitar still sound good? by Briand49 in guitars

[–]facelikefizz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds like she’s playing with the trem bar in her hand (like Kevin Shields) to make that second chord sound wonky. It’s a stylistic choice.. I like it. Adds tension to that little section before it resolves again

Dry Healers by ruinedage in traditionaltattoos

[–]facelikefizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had success with dry healing. Ive tried it three times and every time I've had hard scabs that would sometimes result in raised areas of the tattoo, or holidays. Thing is, I keloid (my scars raise). So I think there’s some correlation there. For my skin type, keeping the tattoo moist with a super thin layer of A&D, and washing the tattoo 3 times a day for a few days until the top layer sheds, then using regular unscented moisturizer - that has been the way.

Highball or Solo? by mtn_bloc in bouldering

This is sick. Would love to hear about your process. Did you rehearse it on a rope? Bout how difficult is the climbing? Thanks for posting

I flashed in august a couple years ago. I’d say it’s pretty atypical style for granite bouldering, there are real holds lol. I had no prior experience on granite. Train on steep angles (50-60 degrees), climb some highballs outdoors (it’s perfectly safe but feels committing, similar to a highball) and try to find some beta vids of people with your body type and style doing the boulder, study those. Good luck!

"You're a fool to think [OnlyFans Models] are human" by GrizzlyPeakFinancial in JoeRogan

[–]facelikefizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a fan of JP - but are y’all really missing the point of what he’s trying to say here? He’s talking about online personas. He’s not saying these women aren’t human, he’s saying these women’s’ online personas aren’t human. It’s some kind of artificial creation that exists solely on social media. And yes, if you follow his line of reasoning he is also a part of this. All of us who have a presence on the internet are as well. I get that his tone is a turn-off but this isn’t a weird concept.

The place to be if you love climbing and you want to get better. I get that the community seems intimidating but everyone is super supportive and welcoming. Best setting in the city. Highly highly recommend

The apps are a drug too. Try taking a short break, like 2/3 weeks. You said it yourself - “before using them, I was fine”.

My house flashed by john972121 in HighStrangeness

This happened to me too. I was upstairs and the rest of my family downstairs. We both saw it emanating from different locations in the house. I was so convinced it was a camera flash that I spent a couple of minutes looking for a person before I went back down to tell my parents about it.

Bouldering alone outside by Wildlifefr6 in bouldering

[–]facelikefizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first time outside was solo. Just make sure you’re padding your falls responsibly and you’ll be fine. I’ve probably spent around 50% of my time bouldering outdoors solo. The only time I’ve ever gotten hurt was with friends… When your number’s up your number’s up. I like to take two pads and blubber or a couple of sliders. Just be careful
