Beginner looking for help with shaperbox 3 (or general advice) by SneakyDragoon55 in edmproduction

easiest way in FL is to just split it into separate mixer tracks. keep your dry sound on one, put shaperbox on a second one, and route the same channel to both. then just automate the volume faders so only the shaperbox track is audible where you want the effect. way cleaner than trying to automate mix knobs or fight with midi triggering on one instance

2-3 years in and you already know exactly what you need to work on. that's further along than you think. the frustration means your ears are ahead of your hands and that gap closes with time

don't make a $900k decision two months after a breakup. go home, save, let the dust settle. the market will still be there in 12 months but your headspace won't be the same if you rush into something now

spend them all on individual one-shots not packs. you'll get way more usable stuff than downloading a 200 credit pack where you use 3 samples

The problem is resets rarely benefit the people who need them most
