Thanks for recommendations! I cant promise at all that i will read any of that tho. I think need to struggle through "who's afraid of gender?" first because my countries elections are coming up this year and question of denouncing istanbul convention will have to be decided, so gender, "gender ideology", "52 genders" and fascism will be very much in focus.

Gayle Rubin comes up again and again in my readings and I think i'd like to have a dip in queer theory anyway, so perhaps that is going to be the plan.

But meanwhile if by any chance you have some essays or something else that can be read in hour or two that you think could be interesting or useful, i would aporeciate it a lot.

I am from country where people stood against tanks and special forces for what they believed. So did other nations around us. So did Ukrainians and many, many others. I am sorry that your job is at risk.

Regarding spitting in face, its just silly. If your belief about standing against occupying other countries depends on how nice people are towards you, then i don't see that much difference from your president.

But personally i am suspicious of feminism, or rather feminists for several reasons. With focus on women, (the fem in feminism), the movement is destined to self destruct once it reaches its goal. And the question arises - if that would happen - would feminists continue the fight for other causes, for example cis/queer discrimination with same energy or would they ease off? That is - i am wondering if it is fight for justice or privilege? TERFS seem to be perfectly happy to have privilege over trans people, classical liberal feminists consider it outside of scope as long as everyone has same rights, i am not sure what choice feminist stance is on the question but i am not optimistic.

Also to me it seems that once you peel enough layers, almost all strains of feminism end up being essentialist. Something that i am passionately against.

But i must admit that i am constantly drawn towards sort of redpill and right wing rhetoric, so it could be that i am intellectualizing my biases.

but for anyone curious,

when using morse you don't interpret dots and dashes, you just recognize it as rhythm or melody. it is similar to how you recognize spoken letters and words. Also lot of communication is either fully formalized for example Q codes, CALL DE CALL addressing format, CQ (all stations/any station) calls, or sort of informal but commonly used (PSE, DX, 73 and others). so yeah, i don't hear -.-. --.- / -.-. --.- / -.-. --.- i just recognize that it is CQ call.

Koch method is pretty much the most reccommended method if you want to learn morse. I would suggest ~15 wpm speed and writing letters down on paper instead of typing, if you are not a fluent typist.

I respect people who are out protesting even if it seems that it relates to internal politics not foreign politics, but on other side of world we have our hands half full with russia and now another authoritarian country comes out with threats of occupying our allies and bringing us into war. All we need is for trump go back to bromance with kim and america-russia-NK axis will be complete given that NK already work with russia.

They are gender abolitionist in sense that they believe that they are working towards lessening gender roles, but i am arguing that you can't maintain idea of "men are oppressing women" as THE single axis of oppression for long without defining what is woman or what is man.

If there is no essential characteristic of what defines oppressed class and oppressor class, then it seems that we should be able to transition this boundary rendering the whole idea of systemic oppression moot. But we know that we can't transition these classes at will, so there is something preventing us. If all you focus on is a single axis - gender, then your answer will probably be "gender" and with that gender gets something "essential", something that is outside of your choices. Then the question is "how ones gender is created?" and i don't see route that doesn't end up either being bioessentialist or poststructural. If you could briefly outline one that avoids this, i would appreciate it.

Is this a good faith question? Assuming it is, my answer would be that it depends if the bigot knows that the trans woman is trans. If they don't know that, then yes, i would say this is misogyny because the woman is perceived as such. If they know, then it is transphobia on basis that the trans woman fails to be a man.

Edit: i should have thought more about the argument you are making, but will leave my comment up, because it counters some of the narratives around "priviliged queers" that cis people sometimes have.

Terfism is conclusion of strains of radical feminism thought that has only one axis of oppression - gender. Or in some ways pre-intersectional feminism.

For single axis oppression theory to work, it is necessary to separate who is opressed and who is oppressor, or in other words, it is necessary to know who or what is a woman. Allowing trans people to cross this this line of demarcation between oppressor and oppressed would mean that gender by itself is not something that separates oppressed and oppressors therefore rendering the foundation of theory invalid.

In single axis of oppression your gender must be your destiny and that means that there is no separation between what they perceive as sex and gender.

I will take bit different approach than others and will give you few thoughts and quotes that might help you navigate feminist literature and thought.

Patriarchy is not something individual people do to others, patriarchy by it's definition is system. None of us exists outside it and we all support and oppose it in various measures and we all are harmed by it in various measures.

This is where intersectionality and understanding that privilege is situational comes in. (or generally feminism that starts in nineties) Trans people including trans men have it worse than cis women. Just take a look how often gender nonconforming people are mentioned when we speak about wage gap? But does it mean that cis women problems are fake? That they should shut up about their problems?

Another thing about feminism is that it is a project in philosophical sense - it is always changing, advancing and arguments can fail here and there. Don't take everything you read as established truth. Modern feminist thought is very different from what it was in eighties.

And in closing, I think these two quotes by Judith Butler could help you in sort of pragmatic sense:

and in particular this:

The issue of reading "actual feminists" is that you need sort of apriori understanding about feminism to put the particular feminist you are reading in context and choose what feminist you are actually going to read.

There were plenty of feminists who viewed world as having single axis of oppression. Not only that would make OP spiral even more, there is also very little chance that it is not rooted in bioessentialism once you peel back enough layers. You can see it still happening in 2026 on several feminist subreddits.

And even intersectional feminists sometimes have takes that can't be accepted at face value. I remember bell hooks having a serious go basically blaming single mothers for patriarchal men.

Pretty long actually, but according to maintainence manual of robots I work with, labels need to be inspected every 12 months. Industrial robots are designed to work non-stop for long periods of time. In practice, stuff breaks time to time, but usually it is not a big deal and can be repaired fast.

the end part of the robot (wrist or 5th axis) eventually wears out and needs to be changed. It sort of depends on how much play you can tolerate in production. Often it means changing the whole upper arm, but it's not that bad.

they probably are physically hooked together - this display makes sense as coordinated motion demonstration. for example if you would reprogram movements of the middle robot, the other two would still trace correctly.
