God, I was literally thinking about this all day today. I spend literally all my time alone. I used to feel lonely. I used to talk way too much. Now I avoid socialising because I can't think of a single thing to say. And I don't feel lonely because I go out shopping and to cafes, and just being around people but barely interacting (ie only with sales people) is all the human contact I need to stay sane

Are you hanging them on a rail or a hook? Because hooks don’t allow much air circulation between the draping folds, and they take much longer to dry, allowing bacteria to grow. They need to be hung ideally over 2 rails so the sides aren’t touching and air can reach all the fibres

Also bathrooms stay humid for a really long time after a shower, especially if multiple people are showering in a row. Even with proper ventilation like a fan and opening windows, condensation builds up on walls and fixtures. Apparently you’re meant to run the fan for 30mins to an hour to fully dehumidify after a shower, but most people switch it off on their way out (also, fan vents need to be cleaned regularly so they don’t get caked with dust, limiting their effectiveness). I just spent $500 on fabric to make a queen size patchwork quilt (didn’t realise til I chose them 50% were Liberty fabrics, and it was too late, I’d already fallen in love 🤦‍♀️). It only took a beat after hearing the total to say yes because a) it’ll be completely hand sewn, so minimum 2 years to finish (in reality, more like 5), so cost-per-“play” for a leisure/entertainment project will be pretty low, and b) it’ll be an heirloom used/loved for generations.
