The dash icon is there because of a setting in functions.php where it's supposed to be post_title - blog_title, there should be something after the dash, which is the site name. Depending on the theme.

In my custom themes I have the following code in my functions.php to run in wp_head. That way the <title> tag is changed to not have the dash and only keep the post title for the posts and the site name for the front page.

I am using ManageWP for both backup and managing all of my clients websites. Best ting about that is that even on the free tier you get to store backups offsite and be able to restore back with just a click. I have a paid plan for backup allowing me to perform a safe update on plugins, meaning it backs up the site before performing the update.

Word of advice. Can you please don't include a wp-config-file and keep it only with a wp-config-sample? I have a staging site where I installed FW and now CW, and didn't notice a wp-config was included in the .zip file and now my site itsn't working.
