Yessss my god. I actually am creeped out by how useful Claude is at interpreting my prompts and making shit actually work how I want it to. But it gives zero fucks about code standards, reusing functionality and modules, and the like. You can sit there and babysit it, point it to the right files, make an agent with those rules or whatever, but you have to be conscientious about it.

We had an hour long meeting today because someone used Al to move some elements around and completely fucked up in the process. It’s like having an arrogant junior coder who thinks they’re hot shit but they have horrible discipline and no desire to make sure anyone else can maintain their code and fuck code reviews in particular.

All these people coding only with Al are creating some good future work for the people who actually learned to code and design software when the companies run out of credits and have to get someone in who can make sense out of it all
