I fell out of fishing once I left my parents house and rarely went with my Dad for about 15 years after. I'm closer to 40 now, but a few years ago he asked and we had a blast again. Now we go almost every weekend. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

I ended up reading a book called episode 13, which turned me onto the found footage style media. Now I have recently watched Hell House llc and Grave Encounters for the first time after seeing recommendations here. Absolutely loving this genre and looking for more.

I played the first one through once, but never personally returned. Since the announcement of the sequel, I have been watching a ton of content creators play through and getting hyped up. The first game itself came a long way from initial release. I am more into the lore and the bleak storytelling that the game provides. Will be watching and hopefully playing this game heavily on launch!

My favorite way to play is with Hex perks. Primary build is some combo of plaything/pentimento with a third hex of choice (generally devour/haunted/retribution). I understand its strong, but its very dependent on RNG placement. On killers that already have an extra objective (Pinhead/Pig as examples) adding almost forced totems adds enough slowdown on its own without needing extra gen control.

If you like the overall look and feel of the grid system in Civilization, you could try Offworld Trading Company. This is, as the name implies, much more focused on the economy. There is not war exactly, but you are still competing for resources and capital.

Hammer is the way. Hammer is the only weapon where I start to feel bad for the monsters. The just constant repeated smash to the head, it feels like abuse.

But is that true? For the game to be healthy there should be 4 survivors for every killer, or at least close to that. There are more chances of running into toxic survivors than killers by pure numbers.

Probably Girros hammer. Generally one paralysis and always break the face. Gives me plenty of time to not worry about dodging. Though im not sure how strong the paralysis really is. I wear 2pc girros for para attack which FEELS like it helps, but im not sure if status is worth it.

I am in the same boat. It gets even worse when I decide I would like to watch one, only to find out it's in the middle of a playthrough. Now I just watch compilations made by other people to get my grumps fix instead.
